-_- New computer already giving me problems. So, I just got a brand new laptop about 5 days ago. I recently installed Maplestory on it, and, one day while playing, I tried to put the game in Windowed Mode (Which I had done a few times beforehand) and the computer crashed, giving me a blue screen. Now, everytime I start up my brand new laptop, it tries to check the disk for consistency, but, always winds up freezing whether I let it go, or try to skip it. Its really frustrating and causes me to have to start up 5~10 times before I can actually get on. Downloading Windows 7 So, I need to reinstall Windows 7 onto my laptop using an external hard-drive. Does anyone know how to go about this, and for free? I have my Windows 7 product key, it just seems like every download i can find is an iso file, and I'm unable to write the OS to a disc, so I need boot files that I can run off of an external hard drive. Any help is greatly appreciated. :D
Dc Jack Broken - Tips? So, I own an Alienware M15x, and the DC Jack is really loose. Because of this, my computer will not charge anymore, the battery has died, and now I have no computer hence I cannot charge the battery. I called a few PC Shops as I've never encountered a technical issue like this before and they all gave me estimations and didn't seem very confident in their abilities to resolve the issue, until I called a shop a few towns over from me. The representative there told me to call Alienware Customer Support and have them tell me about the design of the DC Jack so he could determine what to do with it - and Alienware said it would be impossible to remove the DC Jack in the particular model I own without destroying the Mother
Nvidia Drivers Error? Recently, my Alienware M15x crashed, and I had no choice but to reformat... Now, I've installed all of my computer's drivers, however, the Nvidia Graphics drivers simply will NOT download. The installer gives me an error saying: "nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware." I've tried installing the drivers directly from Nvidia's website, I've tried getting them through Dell customer support, and I've tried getting them from Alienware's website. NONE of the Driver installs are working. Does anyone have a solution to this?
Completely Random Bsod, now Windows will not run So today, I was on Facebook and listening to iTunes in the background, and suddeny my computer started freezing up, and then a BSOD error popped up. Now, everytime I run my computer, it says Windows was unable to start, and it tries to restart itself, and basically goes in an endless cycle of reboots. What's going on? i'm seriously considering gettig a Macbook, considering this is the 4th PC I've gone through in 6 years. -_- i'm on Alienware M15x laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Alternatives to Windows 8 Touch Keyboard? I just bought a 2 in 1 Asus Tablet/PC that I plan on using for school next semester, and I'm in love with it so far. However, when I flip into tablet mode and need to use the touch-screen keyboard, it skips like crazy and is just really, really, really unresponsive and buggy. My touchscreen works fine, the Windows 8 touch keyboard just sucks. It seems almost as if I'm typing way too fast for the keyboard, and even when I slow it down its still can't keep up and accidentally double inputs or misses characters. Is there anyway I can download a replacement keyboard or fix the unresponsiveness of the keyboard? Its really irritating me to no end since I have it flipped into tablet mode 90% of the time. A
Drivers and Their Compatibility So, Windows is corrupt on my Windows 7 laptop and I do not have a restore disc. However, I have a Windows Vista 64bit restore disc that I can use until I can purchase a Windows 7 one. Will the Drivers for my Windows 7 Laptop distributed on the manufacturer's website be compatible with Vista as well, or no?
