How to survive Azwan as a Mechanic

I knew that Azwan was about coordination, skill, and strategy. Took me well over a week to realize that Mechanics are big on coordination and strategy as well because of their summons! We shouldn't be so selfish and just rushing to attack the boss. We should play much more of a "support role" rather than a pure offense/defense role.
Everyone complains about how mechanics suck at killing that final boss because of having to worry about getting in/out of siege and how dash just isn't fast enough. Well I just found out the answer to everyone's problems:

Portals

Like I keep saying to everyone, Mechanics (once set up) have fantastic mobility! I found that portals are AMAZING in Azwan Attack. Not only will you love them, but your party (if they knew you had portals) would almost make it mandatory you have them out. Anyways here's how to place your portals:

Portal 1: (Attack Mode) Put this portal just behind the first flag(The left flag). The flags are located in the background on the houses. Reason for this is because in Attack mode, I saw that the farthest the tower lasers reached, was to the first flag (the left flag). That is your safety portal that you and any party members use to survive the lasers with a 100% chance of survival.
Portal 2: Put this right on the towers nuts. This way you wont have any mobs blocking your siege so you can solo that sucker. And when its time to dodge the lasers, just get out of siege and go through your handy-dandy portal.

Tips~
-To enhance your survivability and reaction times by a HUGE amount, watch for the animation for the lasers. Not the tombstones at the bottom, but instead the animation should be on the boss itself. It should look like a big circle about mid-way through its whole body. Because first it will do that animation, THEN it will lay down the tombstone animations. So if you pay attention to the first animation instead of the tombstones, you will have just increased your time to get out of the way by like another 2-3 seconds! Helps so much.
-Occupy mode is harder than attack mode for one reason: The towers have a MUCH longer range than the Attack mode towers. In Attack mode, the maximum distance the lasers can go is to the flag on the left (in the background on the buildings, which isn't very far). But the Occupy lasers have a distance increase of like another 4 laser sections or something. Attack is much easier to survive.
-This does work with the mid towers too, but they are much harder to avoid because their rocks KnockBack you and have a huge distance-covered per rock. But the strategy is still the same: Portal right on the face of the tower, then a portal as far left as you can. Reason people want these towers out is because they are a line of almost instakill and are a serious pain in the ass. Some classes such as bowmen can't walk past that tower because if they touch it, they die instantly. Only classes with a rush skill with i-frames, or a thief with Dark Sight can get past it without taking the instakill touch damage. Plus the rocks they drop can be deadly and a serious pain in the ass.

For those of you who don't want to burn through potions like an addict, follow these steps and let your party members take care of the boss:
1) Set up your portals so that your party members, who are killing the boss, get out of the lasers safely. That is probably your biggest contribution to the Pq.
2) Put up your Amplifier right next to the boss so that your party members get that 20% boost to kill it faster.
3) Set up a Healer-Bot right on the portal so that your party members can use it if they need to.
4) Set up Rock n Shock near the boss *not on the boss* so that it will help lower the hp of the mobs that spawn and KB them to help make it easier to kill them, and to slow them down. This is great for defending a spot. Make sure you spread out Rock n Shock to maximum distance.
5) Set up Bots and Tots on the boss so that it will do extra damage to that stupid tower and/or hurt the mobs that spawn making them much easier to kill as well.
6) Post up in a safe place and just hold back the mobs with Laser and Drill Hands. Let your buddies take care of the boss.
7) STAY ALIVE! As soon as you die, all robots and summons disappear making that whole objective of setting up, completely and utterly pointless. Don't worry about burning through potions while setting up. After you set up, the potion burn should die down after you start holding back the mobs.

that's nice info but you forgot about the alter that fill the mobs hp so that's first take it out if you're going to attack
Here's something else you should know too:
Although Mech's accelerator doesn't affect enemy speed or defense, it allows the cygnus support units to move faster to the front lines for holding back mobs. The defense of these guys isn't really affected since they only take constant damage from enemies.
Holy crap really? That's great news. Those stupid birds are so useful as shields

And PLEASE watch where you use Giant Robot; It will hurt your cygnus supporters as well as enemies, and it even hurts the Cygnus Faith Stone in defense mode (I learned the hard way and destroyed it on my first Hard defense).

Great minds think alike my friend! I was JUST thinking about this type of strategy the other day! Mech's aren't that good at attacking in azwan since constant mobs block siege from hitting the tower. However we make GREAT support party members. Gonna try this again tonight.

Yea, this was made for people who obviously have trouble beating the mode even with a party. And no I don't think I've Azwan'ed with you before. I think I've only soloed, and played it a party with only my guildies on my mech. Sorry.

It depends on the situation I guess.

For me, by the time I finish setting up, the mode's already completed since it's like 10-20 sec to finish Attack Mode.
