Bishop

Would you recommend me to become a Bishop?

Hey!

I've been curious about the Bishop job,it seems fun, party members are gar for your buffs, you can have decent damage apparently. When I could run LoL on my Mac,I loved to play Taric,a support character who would babysit his partners by giving stun, heal and more defense. And the meme "U DAZZLED?" was pretty funny

Yet I'm afraid as I fear that don't have what it takes to be a Bishop.
So I wanted your opinion about it. Is it difficult to keep everyone's buff up and to heal them?Do you get used to the responsibility you have as a support?
Do you have any tips you would give to a soon-to-be Bishop? :x

Thank you for reading.

The only time I ever heal my pt is during Root Abyss, especially Von Bon. </3 But being a Bishop isn't hard at all, you may get impatient due to the slow, minimal attacks and explorer speed at first until you get mounts and speed/jump equips and Teleport Mastery! I mean, what's better than killing enemies by simply walking through them? But I suggest to play at your own pace, it's the most fun as that and I don't regret being a slowpoke at this game. It was great to see my character a total noob learning how to do things right and evolving into now.

Phantoms will love you and so will everyone else because you can HS and AB people while training, plus shell saves lives from seduce during czak and HT! Feel awesome when you do that.

But these days I'd rather not HS and AB training parties because a lot leech off of dang hackers. >.<

I just hate it when people tell me to just hang on the rope or them saying "let me mob" and make me sit there being a rope hanger, but eff da popo y'know. I'm attacking and I can prove you that Bishops can have good damage too and there are people who take time to fund rather than using it as a HS mule. :K My range is around 24k right now and slowly working on it. Which is like 160-170k a line I think with AR with max AA.

Also you can make a firework show with other Bishops with Big Bang and Genesis. And don't max Doom, you will rarely ever use it. But it's good if you have poor defense I guess.
I can make about 180k with each line of angel ray with 12k range (with arcane aim and infinity)
there arent many monsters that can survive that (aside from bosses), so for grinding it isnt really and isue, specially since you are wanted in parties

and our critical % is sweet
Isn't that awesome? O_o
I believe my Kaiser level 120 does 30k 8 times.
But with the PDR/MDR,bishops does a lot of damage to boss no?

people think bishops do some crazy support, its just HS every 180 seconds...
Bishops are pretty good once hyper skill comes up.

Unless your funded, bishops are incredibly weak and all do is provide HS and leech (occasionally adv bless and magic shield) and you need a skill book to get Angel Ray (from Hilla,Zakum, CZakum).
To some extent, it is great to just support and heal, but nowadays, Maplestory is all about damage and bishops aren't exactly the best at it.

Anyone has the requirements to become a bishop.
1) They don't heal. No one does anymore. Only really lazy-butt people ask for you to spam-heal them.
2) Buffs last a nice amount of time. Just make sure you don't have Buff Mastery on so you can tell when to recast (especially if they ask for it again, possibly from being out of range of it.)
Bishops are a simple class that don't require much attention, and people will love ya for it.
