Loud Annoying! 12VDC Fan and a Fried Laptop So basically a long time ago this computer that was given to me as a hand me down an Emachine W3507 Desktop PC well before it was given to me it was reformatted and after it was reformatted the main cooling fan became annoyingly loud it's a 12VDC. I bought an AIR Can today and cleaned out all the dust to see if that would help but it didn't really and I was going to oil it but it doesn't have any openings to enable you to oil it. Then of course one would also check the bios but for the life of me the Fan changing speed bio isn't there now (It got updated with Windows 7) so it doesn't have the original OS and I would just go find the disks for the computer that came with it but the owner lost them.

Noisy Hard Drive but? So.. yeah I have a loud Hard Drive and I'm not sure why it's so noisy entirely, the computer I don't think was this loud when it was bought back in think.. 2006 or so I forget exactly when but somewhere between 2006 and 2007 and one day my parents reformatted the PC because it was slow and cluttered up with junk or something (it was theirs at the time so idk) and after they formatted it the Fans where louder than usual and the hard drive was noisier than ever. Most the time when a hard drive is noisy it's because it's failing or something is wrong with it but uhm the only thing is.. is I've done several various types of hard drive tests, scans and such and it all comes back positive every time it's like a loud Humming
