10 fame for a chain quest which requires killing 50 lorangs, 50 clangs and 50 lupins and a king clang at the end.
Buy Fame.
Mano quest gives 3 fame, Stumpy'll give you 5 and Dyle... 12, I think?
EDIT:
The Stumpy quest can be started through Winston the Archaeologist (or whatever he's called). "The Old Tree", I believe.
And where might I be able to find the Stumpy quest?

Bingo. Area Quests give some massive fame. Stumpy will give 12 fame, Dyle will give at least 6-7, can't remember. Mano gives no fame, so no need to do that.
Boss Quests, Jump Quests, White Christmas Hill, and some others I don't know about =P (In Search of the Book of Ancient gives some I think)
2 fame from the quest in NLC Big Ben (for GFA).
5 fame from the little penguin.
1 fame if you can trade fame.
Total: 8.... LOL. Sorry buy some fame.
Try doing the Eliza quest in Orbis.
It's relatively easy. Talk to the old lady in the house that's near pixies to start.
You get 20 fame at the end of the quest.
