Ele Staff or D tail?
So i already have a d tail warstaff but im trying to upgrade to an ele staff. But should i upgrade? First off Im an evan so people tell me i should use a specific ele staff either 5 or 6 but they never know which one exactly, so first off which ele staff is better for an evan. Second i have full empress already so what do u think ele staff or d tail?

If you're talking about the Tyrant belt, you have to kill Hard Magnus (released in Kaiser update), which requires a level 190+ expedition. It's very difficult to defeat because there's a death counter (if your expedition reaches 20 deaths, you automatically fail).

If you ever plan on getting the Tyrant equipment (cape, shoes, belt), then weapon isn't needed for the 6 set bonus as you won't be able to reach anywhere close to 6 pieces.
Assuming you get Tyrant equipment (unlikely as it's extremely difficult to kill Hard Mode Magnus even with a highly funded party), the best combination is Tyrant cape, shoes, belt with Empress hat, overall, gloves, shoulders (released in the future), and weapon depending on if you want the 5 item bonus.
If you don't ever plan on getting Tyrant equipment, get the Empress staff. If you could afford both, get both and use the ES5 for training/normal mobs and the Empress Staff for bossing.
If you are curious, the 7th item bonus for Empress set after shoulders are released is an additional +15% HP/MP and +10 weapon/magic attack.
