So all my life until now, I have never cared anything with my weight. Right now I'm age 18, 5 foot 7, and my weight is close to 125. I've gained 2 pounds over last 3 years so I'm slightly worried lol but my goal is 135.

And I even eat full meals (even junk food) but my weight doesn't seem to change. I do swimming but don't really work out.

Also I have no idea how to calculate my % body fat or what to do with it.

So what would you guys recommend for me to gain a bit weight in a healthy way? Like which exercises or what diet.

TL;DR help me not look like a spaghetti bois n gals

You just really need to eat more food. Like instead of 4 chicken tenders, eat 5. Don't skip dessert. Buy ice cream, avocados, peanut butter. U don't need to swim or do any cardio. Lift if you want. Main thing is eat more.

Eat dense foods high in calories. Google it. You want to ingest more calories than your expend.

Your calorie intake has to be increased as well as ur meals; if you eat 3 times a day try snacking in between; still working out or swimming in your case is good since you'll be using your muscles

okay took note of eating more. I've probably burned as many calories swimming as eating. But I heard more muscles also impact weight? If so, would yall recommend keep swimming or start doing work outs?

@luckysausage: Well, the first thing to do is to specify what your goals are. Are you trying to bulk up and gain muscle? If so, focus more on working out and doing some strength training. Are you just looking for some general fitness? Then you can focus more on swimming, or do a combination of both.

From there, you'd need to specify those goals even further and then look to the appropriate programs/exercises that you can do that align with those goals (which you kind of did, since you want to gain 10 pounds, but now it's about whether that means muscle mass or just in general). If you really want to take it to another level, that involves doing things like counting caloric intake/calculating macros/finding a proper meal plan, which you can Google and figure out for yourself, because I can't exactly tell you what to do since that'd involve what's best for you and I wouldn't consider myself a nutritionist or anything of that sort. That, of course, will take time.

@luckysausage: If you enjoy swimming, keep swimming. You don't have to do a complete 180, just try more calories and see what happens first.

I was basically your height and weight. Started eating 2500-3000 cals a day and lifting. Gained nearly 10 pounds in the first month.

Go check your thyroid, Im 21 and was 110 lbs last year since I was 16 or so, in that whole time I ever dropped and gained 2 pounds, nothing more.
Finally started gaining weight this year after taking medication.
I always have eaten my 3 meals, no skips and nonstop snacks/junk food, I simply couldn't get past 108 and 110 lbs mark.

Now im 130lbs, so happy with results.
Yeh im male, also 5'7

I'm about the same weight and height as you and im 23. my weight stopped increasing after 9th grade. I only gain weight if I work out. My exact height is 172cm and around 128lbs. I don't go to gym. Most of my exercise is road biking and very long walks. I don't like to jog or run. If I don't exercise I go back to 122lbs. The heaviest I weighted was 135lbs back n highschool when I went to the gym and did muscle workout. But overall, I am more happy with outside endurance exerise.
