It's made in China because they'll work for anything.
In a couple years less general use products will be made in China. China is currently going through an economical transition and starting to concentrate of other areas of production i.e cars, TVs, eletronics.
T-shirts, toys etc most likely will be produced in other developing countries such as Indonesia, India etc.
