Nexon needs to ban all these hackers

Every day I see a freaking hacker's name popping up on the announcement "Gsdjciy3fy defeated elite boss and received a [Protection Scroll]" seriously? You guys can't catch that half these guys that are getting rewards are hacking... Makes hunting elite bosses pointless...
Nexon is banning hackers. Note that you rarely see the same two bots getting rewards in a row. GMs ban them, and hackers keep making new accounts. Kind of hard to stop that.
See that is the thing, banning hackers won't make them go away. The best solution I can come up with is having new accounts unable to trade a large amount of mesos
or items for a specific time like 2 weeks or so. Biggest issue that nexon has is the structural issue and volume of the game. Not only that but fixing the things already broke. I wish they would just hire efficient people but it is what it is.

To the person who said it, everyone benefits from hackers in some way unless you never trade and even then when compensation come you also get a part of it. The big issue is the amount of hackers that are consistently seen for weeks which is kind of demoralizing. With the enhancement update, mesos will be worth more maybe so more
mesos farming bots might come. All in all, it isn't worth worrying about it at the moment. Another thing to add is items and mesos without hackers would be way to scarce for
the regular mapler. This goes for farmable items not bossing items which hackers/botters aren't really affecting as much as funded people and mules. Just my opinion on the
matter but as bad as botters are, at this point they are the lesser of evils so to speak. Though the volume of botters in this game is pretty absurd in any case.

Well you cant ban people for bad IGNs... But im all for a GM checking them ( VIP rock teleport even ) to where they're at, and confirm weather its legit or not

@xdean23: It'll speed up the process sure. Nothing would be unobtainable. People will eventually get strong enough to the point where items will be available, and most people will be relatively richer because meso would be worth more, and other items would be worth more. I'll repeat it again, hackers will help in the short term, but in the long term screw up the entire economy. You can't think in the right now, you have to thing about the path the economy takes over time.

They know. Their banning system for botters is pretty poor though.
And there's a lot to crack down on

@zpattack12:
Would you rather have things you can never afford or things that you can get? No matter what, hackers will always be here. Hell, I remember when Khaini was called hacker central and no one wanted to come.

They do ban them. But then the hacker makes a new character and the cycle keeps going around

@xdean23 Not really, because they just devalue all the sources of profit that regular people like you and me could have. Hackers, no matter what, are not good for the economy long term.
