Tips for fighting Papulatus? I'm level 121, and I can't seem to kill Papulatus. Everything goes well, until he is down to about 1/3 of his health, at which point he casts a dispell and attack almost at the same time. What end up happening is I get my magic guard removed AND get attacked milliseconds after, and die in one hit. I never have enough time to cast magic guard between the dispell and the attack. Are there any tricks I should know to fighting him?
Is 70 base luk high I'm level 130, and I have 70 base luck, but I'm seriously considering adding to it because I'm meeting some real equip-wearing issues (especially in PVP). I'm curious now, where does everyone else get their luck from?
Quick question about elemental weapons. So I've been away from this game for a few months. Last time I played elemental staves were nerfed to oblivion, having their elemental bonuses removed completely. I also remember Nexon talking about compensation. I'm just wondering, has anything been done about this, or has Nexon given any reminders as to the fact that they'll fix this?
Did I miss something with E.Staves? Taken from hidden-street.net Elemental Staff 3: Ice Damage: 110% Lightning Damage: 105% Other Elemental Penalty: 75% Elemental Staff 4: Ice Damage: 110% Lightning Damage: 105% Other Elemental Penalty: 75% Did HS get their facts wrong, or do both E.staves give the SAME bonuses?
How much do reverse aeas hands go for in Mardia? I know it's a pretty specific question, but I'm on the verge of getting a new staff and I'm having trouble deciding between an E.Staff 4 and a Reverse Aeas. I know that the Aeas will have more damage after being fully levelled up (while the E.Staff would do more damage against an unlevelled staff) but I'm just trying to judge prices for my (potentially) end-game staff here.
So why cap my luk at 50-70? I'm just wondering, what makes it better to put points into int? I don't really see how it can give more int in the long run. If I'm running low on luk I'm going to end up scrolling my equips for it anyway, and those are slots that could rather be scrolled for int or m.att if I had base luk in the first place. I'm level 127 with 70 base luk right now, but it's starting to become a hassle and I'm just wondering what benefits there are for keeping it this low.
