How to run MapleStory on Windows 8 x64 Pro with Media Center Anyways I got it to work just go here and download hackshield and blackcipher manual patches and patch the folder yourself runs like a charm now. Just make sure to start via gamelauncher.ex
MapleStory Windows 8.1 Has anyone tried running MS on the new preview version and did it work?
Monsters Freezing Issue Anyone else know how to fix or have the issue where your monsters freeze and you still see incoming chats but cannot chat out. It is definitely not lag as you receive chats as normal but cannot chat out and your monsters just stand still. So you can sit there all day and shoot a boss or the monster(s) and they'll never die or unfreeze, you won't get hurt, you can type but when you enter in the text it doesn't get sent out it just disappears, you still see people chatting you in buddy list and guild, only thing you can do is relog... It gets really annoying.
Windows Tech Preview 9879 Anyone able to get maple to run on this build? It ran just fine on 9841 and 9860 now upon launching it seems to give a blackcipher.aes application error "referenced memory at x location cannot be read" along with an NGS error after clicking ok and it seems to freeze the mouse while the ms application continues to run but isn't accessible. Wondering if there are any work arounds, steam, etc or if I'll just have to use Win 8.1 or wait til the next build.
