Dell Inspiron Duo: Crap or Amazing?

Hey Basil,

I'm in the market for a tablet pc, so I looked at the iPad, but promptly looked elsewhere because of no flash and price. My research henceforth has led me to the Dell inspiron duo. It looks like a cool hybrid between a netbook and a tablet and exactly what I need.

However I want to know what the rest of basil thinks before I invest in a 550 dollar piece of tech.

Thanks. Heres the link to the Dell

Well by fast i mean I'm not waiting a minute for a web page to load or 3 hours for a movie to buffer. Just something that can do things comfortably..

A netbook is fast if you don't multi-task. Don't look at tablets or netbooks if you have such high expectations.

Yeah, i know how good they've been with my asus, but the asus mentioned just doesn't fit my needs for a compact but fast system.
An alternative to that would be the Asus Eee PC T101MT which is $489.99 on Newegg.

I do like the design of the Dell, though. The battery life is a bit short for an Netbook.
While i do like the battery life and the styling, the single core atom processor and the 1 gb ram is too slow for me... But thanks for the suggestion
