Death Of A Loved One

Hey, how do you guys handle the death of a loved one? Do you attend the funeral or keep to your own. What are some good ways to handle it.

No idea. My family disowned me ages ago, so I don't really have anyone close enough for that. The last funeral I went to was for my mom's dad. I never got to know the guy and only met him a few times, but I felt bad for my mom since it happened shortly after I ran away from home. She was never very close to him either, but the timing was bad for both of us.

my grandma who raised me til I was around 6 years old died when I was 12. It was kind of a relief, mostly sad cuz she had spent the previous 6 years getting worse from her sicknesses (Parkinson, dementia) and we had to take care of her (feeding, clothing, cleaning her etc) & its sad to see the person who took care of u become the person who u have to take care of, but when they go u know at least theyre not suffering anymore. Acceptance is the hard part to get to but it just comes with time

Never had a loved one die before, however I did laugh when my uncle died in the world trade center attacks.

I go through the 5 stages of grief.

I turn into a mindless zombie, but I'm actually just daydreaming.

Accept the fact it is gone and there is nothing I can do about it
BTW, funerals are a scam, don't support that shit
