What have I missed?
I haven't played maple in about two years because my computer was from the dark ages and finally decided to die. I was just wondering what I've missed and if it is still as awesome as I remember.

Wow. You are all making me regret spending so much time on Maplestory in the past. And I've tried runescape before. I became very rich on there, and then I got banned for no reason. How many mesos do you think I would need to take my Evan to 200?

Assuming the last new class you saw was evan, you've missed quite a lot.
You might have missed bigbang. If so, expect some MAJOR changes.
The classes you've missed are.
-Mercedes
-Phantom
-Luminous
-Cannoneers
-Ressistance (Mechanic, Wild Hunter, Battle Mage)
-5000 revamps for every class
The economy has gotten 10x worse since you were last on and that about covers it for major things. Oh, and my oh my. Before I forget, they've added potential to the game. So basically, scrolls are feeble and you have to spend money on the game 100% to be good at it.

its not as awesome as you renember, its full of new classes that can ks adventurers easily, many hacks are being rolled out daily, and the leveling curve is much lower and theres level 100+s running around everywhere because its so easy to level now...
Do yourself a favor, don't come back.

I'd basically give them to you free. That's what it's worth now.
But besides that, I think you should be fine . I mean there are a lot of changes to the game you'd have to take the time to go through and see them yourself. It's like Maplestory is almost a completely different game.
Redownload it, try it, see if you'd like it.
Considering your Basil mains a mage, I'd recommend you try making the new Luminous class and yeah
