i wish i were skinny. when i'm skinny i feel light and fresh and clean. i've gained a few pounds this semester and my lbody especially my legs feel terribly gelatinous. i hate it. starting a diet though

@coffee ah i'm sorry for what you went through. I wish i was curvy! I don't understand why people want to be skinny, there's nothing great about it. YOu need to be super skinny to know how we skinny people feel (for the people that detest being skinny, that is). @Coffee: thx my trial of mixcraft ran out so I never got to fix the looping ;____; totally against pirating and I'm at the point where I'm spending my savings for gas money. have original stuff now but all the freeware I've tried is garbage.

my dad works in the arts department at the university here, so I've talked to a bunch of profs and students. been mistaken for a first year student more than once (probably the thick plastic frames and UO shirts) and it just seems like a place where I want to be. Always a good vibe

that cover is so great, i'm not even kidding. keep up the good work.
oil painting is hard at first if you don't know what you're doing, but if you keep with it it's amazing and it is one of my favorite mediums to use. you should head down to your local art community and hang out for a while- you're bound to meet some people you like.

well i go to a private art academy that has a 1/5 acceptance rate so generally everybody who attends is extremely serious about what they do and they feel really passionate about what they do. it's actually the opposite at my school- the ones who don't take anything seriously are usually outcasted. it's a shame, really, but as i said a while ago in a different thread people are different depending on where they are. if you really like music and art keep doing it- especially if you love it. i was an "outcast" for the first 14 years of my life until i entered high school two years ago and now i'm happier than ever and i'm doing something i love and i have met somebody i love because of it.

@GentleRain: see, i'm the opposite. i'm naturally very curvy and i have super large hips yet a small waist and bust so i look kind of awkward, and i suffered from eating disorders for a while so i have a really slow metabolism which makes me gain a lot of weight. i'm trying to stop eating as much and i'm currently in therapy for it and i'm hoping i can maintain and healthy weight while still being self-satisfied. i have also taken up emotional smoking opposed to emotional eating. "thumz up"

But i'm not a bulimic/anorexic lol, i actually want to gain 20lbs if i can :I

shelley has actually addressed the issue many times before and says she went through a really hard time in life being so naturally skinny that it tormented her, she's learned to accept it now and i respect her for it. i think she's beautiful.

it's actually not very stressful because the people down here in the art community are generally very accepting and bring up conversation with you no matter who you are/what you look like. it's actually pretty thrilling. it is pretty awesome.
