Ultimate Guide to Jetts

[header=pleasenote]PLEASE NOTE![/header]
This is only partially what I have done so far. I am not going to work on it that much unless it receives positive feedback from you, since it is in fact for you.
So please, tell me what you think, even if you think it looks like it was made by a 5-year-old, just let me know, so I can stop working on it, and not be wasting my time.

[header=intro]Introduction![/header]
Hello, and welcome, to my Jett guide. This guide will well, guide you alone to your path to 200. It will inform you of the best places to train, the best AP and SP builds, and more! I will also be joining you on your journey to becoming a Jett, so you know the information is based off of facts and experience.
Constructive criticism is highly appreciated.

ALSO, this guide is still under construction, and will be for a while.
I understand there will be lots of mistakes, but I will eventually fix them.

[header=byb]Before you begin..[/header]
Before you begin your journey, there are a few things you should know about Jett.
What is a Jett?

CLASS: Explorer (special)
EQUIPMENT TYPE: Pirate (medium defense)
WEAPON: Gun
ATTACK DISTANCE: Medium ranged
MOBILITY: High
HP: Medium
MP: Medium
PRIMARY STAT: Dexterity (DEX) - needed for damage
-taken from MapleStory's Official Website.

Although many newer players are mislead to believe that Jett uses bullets, that is false. Jett's do not use any bullets. Jett's power comes from their Core, which is like Mercedes' Arrows. The Core is in the Shield slot, and cannot be scrolled. A new fragment of the core is given at each job advancement. (10, 30, 60, 100) Each of them can be leveled up to gain more stats. The level 100 Core comes with hidden potential. The Core's rank is automatically upgraded every ten levels from level 1-100.

[header=story]Storyline[/header]
"Formerly a bounty hunter of planet Cerberus, Jett was accused of a serious crime. Although angry at the person who blamed the crime on her, she quickly decides to leave the planet. With the help of her partner Burke, they commandeer a space shuttle. However, the airship is quickly pursued and attacked.
The attack had ruptured the ship's photon lines and forced open a backlash wormhole, transporting it back in time to Maple World, as it crash lands near the Nautilus. When Jett regains consciousness, she realizes that her partner and the Core, the source of her power, is missing.

Wandering around, Jett finds Burke, only the latter to betray her, revealing that he hated being in her shadow; this hints he had murdered the king and framed her. Jett says that the Core won't be of any use to Burke as it is a hereditary item (meaning only Jett's family can utilize its powers); Burke doesn't care, for he wants to be at least equal or more powerful than Jett. He attacks her and causes her to pass out.

Jett is rescued by Black Bark and Kyrin, and is taken aboard the Nautilus; Black Bark reveals that a fragment of the Core broke off. Jett is then recruited by the Pirates (although Kyrin seems more interested in the advanced technology of Jett's airship due to her pirate nature). From then on, Jett pursues her former comrade for payback."
-credit to MapleWiki.

[header=AP]AP (Ability Points)[/header]
Jett's main stat is DEX.
What that means is that as a Jett, all, or most, of your AP will be put into DEX. DEX will give your character more damage, and will also help you wear the equipment at higher levels. [revising]

[header=link]What the heck is a link skill?[/header]
A link skill is a skill that most of the newer classes, (Mihile, Mercedes, Phantom, etc..) receive when they are made. For Jett's, the link skill is "Core Aura", which is an interchangeable link skill that adds STR, LUK, DEX, INT, ATT, and M.ATT. The numeric value of each stat (STR, DEX, INT, LUK, Weapon ATT, Magic ATT) can be different for each Jett character, and the stats will randomly change after a certain interval of time. The Core Aura can be shared to one other character on the same account in the same world, starting at level 70. You can only change whom has the Core Aura every 24 hours. There are also special NX items that can change your Core Aura's stats and duration in the Cash Shop. Don't have any NX? No problem! Most monsters will drop an item called Star Dust, which also changes the Core Aura's stats, just less significantly.

[header=prosandcons]Pros and Cons of Being a Jett[/header]
There are many reasons why or why not you should make a Jett, so I've created a list compiled of what I think, and what actually is, Jett's best and worst things are.

Pros
[header=3][/header]
[*]High damage with low funding.
[*]Very fast attacking skills.
[*]Very high mobility.
[*]Does not use bullets/ammo.
[*]High critical rate.
[*]Jett's "Core" is able to have potential, and is able to get % Boss Damage.

Cons
[header=3][/header]
[*]Bad reputation, due to hackers and KSers.
[*]Low base attack on main weapon, (guns).
[*]Said to be a Corsair reskin.
[*]Jett's "Rapid Fire" has a lower DPS than most Hurricane-like skills. (eg, Ishtar's Ring, Corsair's Rapid Fire, Hurricane, etc..)

[s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#tornadouppercut]Tornado Uppercut[/s] (11)

Reason
Start off with one point into [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#tornadouppercut]Tornado Uppercut[/s], because it's a decent mobbing skill to use for a few levels. Then, you wanna go ahead and put 1 point into [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#glideblast]Glide Blast[/s], for more mobility, and max [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#doubleshot]Double Shot[/s], because it is faster than [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#tornadouppercut]Tornado Uppercut[/s], and I find it a lot easier to use. After that's maxed, start putting points into [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#shadowheart]Shadow Heart[/s], for extra critical rate and extra critical damage. This should make your training go a lot faster, and your damage better. Then, max [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#glideblast]Glide Blast[/s]. Again, your mobility will shoot up, which is helpful in training. Then, just dump the rest of your points into [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#tornadouppercut]Tornado Uppercut[/s]; I say this because [s=http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2589866#tornadouppercut]Tornado Uppercut[/s] is an "OK" skill. It's range isn't very far, and it's a bit slow, but it's still always a good skill to have.

[header=hyper]Hyper Skills Explanation[/header]
verification needed
Hyper skills are additional skills that have their own unique system. There are three tabs that divide what type of hyper skill each is, (S - stat, P - passive, A - active. Hyper skills do not use regular skill points from regular skills, they have their special point system where you start receiving hyper skill points for S, P, and A, every 10 levels, starting from level 140.
Here is a list of when you will receive the different points for each tab.

Level 140 - +1 S, +1 P
Level 150 - +1 S, +1 A
Level 160 - +1 S, +1 P
Level 170 - +1 S, +1 A
Level 180 - +1 P,
Level 190 - +1 S, +1 P
Level 200 - +1 S, +1 P +1 A

Also, if you decide that you messed up on allocating your hyper skill points, then you may reset them at a fee. The first reset is 100,000 mesos. The second is 1,000,000 mesos, and so on, so be careful.

[revising]

[header=hyperbuild]Hyper Skill Point Allocation[/header]

It is unknown if Jett is going to receive Hyper Skills or not, as it is a GMS exclusive class, so we are forced to wait. Until then, we can only hope.

Well you should start by putting on your seat belt,
make sure all engines are working,
proceed down the runway only when you get clearance,
take off safely,
do not ascend too fast,
once your in the air fly to your destination and land only with clearance.
