Present for teenage boy?

My brother's 17 and I have no idea what to get him. He is into photography and engineering. He wants a good tripod, but my dad's already getting him that. I'm thinking of making a drawing and baking him cookies, ( ) but what else?

What are you, 11? I give money to someone I don't care about, I spend hours thinking of and buying a gift for someone who I care about. Don't be so selfish. The intentions, in the end, are everything.

People like you annoy me. It's the thought that counts in a gift.

Does he have a cell phone? If so, buy him a portable cell phone charger! I'm getting one for my sister, and myself later.

Engineering?
Get something neat from Instructables.
Get all the parts and things needed, give him the instructions, and bingo.

It doesnt matter what you get them. Its thought that counts.

Yeah I think you have quite some nice choices.
A new lens might be very nice! < Ask about this first, you don't want to end up buying a lens he doesn't need.
Also, if he likes engineering, he will definitely love a model that he has to build! I'm an engineering student myself ^^
Also, cookies are a very nice add-on! Cookies show that you care about your brother

I think the cookies are a good idea. Just make sure they're top-notch cookies and that they're his favorite kind.

@blobified that;s not really funny...

OT: Get hit some stuff for his camera (memory cards, attachments, ect.) or something for him to build? My sister (real tom boy) loves it when I buy things give her complicated (like REALLY COMPLICATED) lego, or some models, and she also likes engineering

Rubbers would be for a 16th bday.
Buy the tripod before your dad does, hehe.
