Go to your computer manufacturer's web site (www.dell.com, or toshiba.com, or whatever kind you have), and look for their "Support" or "Downloads" page. On the Support page, find their "drivers download" (or similar wording) link. On that page they'll usually ask you for your computer's MODEL and MODEL NUMBER
(like Dell Dimension 345X). If you don't know what it's called, look for a label on the back or bottom of the computer that tells that info. They'll also usually ask you what version of Windows you have.

When you input all that info they'll show you a page with all the drivers they have available for your specific computer. Find the "audio drivers" or "sound drivers" on the list and download that file to your computer. Make sure it says it's for the version of Windows you have. Then run the file to install your sound drivers.
