Cant get past beginning cutscene for aran
my screen always goes black and doesn't come back after it said the people of the maple world tried to resist the blackmage but couldn't.After it says that with the picture of the black mage my screen just goes black and doesn't come back no matter how long i wait can someone help me with this please.

As it appears that Demon slayer is being released tomorrow morning (most likely a minute after midnight PST) And it starts with a cutscene as well.. Nexon will be hella shooting themselves in the foot if this isnt fixed by then.
Its still happening I rebooted the client sooo many times and the screen just goes black after the picture of the blackmage and it says the residents of the maple world couldln't find a way to resist when it goes black it just stays that way and i wait a long time and nothing happens.

really? hmm.... Oh yeah! in tespia, my cannon shooter had to do the initial cutscene a few times (where your sprite moves around) before it actually finished without freezing. Same for my mercedes after the video. I guess you just have to try until it works. I'm not sure if it helped, but I made sure not to touch any keys or the mouse during the cutscene so as not to distract the game.

They glitched all the 'cutscenes' (aran intro, evan sequences, mercedes, cannon shooter, mush kingdom, etc.). You need to restart the client and you'll be past the cutscene. It's a pain, but at least it doesn't start you over at the start of it. -.-'
