Indian curry smell So the majority of people think that Indians constantly smell like curry/smell bad in general. This is mostly true. I have a friend who lived in India for a long time and she told me that when they cooked their Indian dishes, the strong smell of the spices would seep into everything within the vicinity; it would usually waft through the entire house. So if all their clothes/books/bags smell like "curry" after cooking, why don't they just put their stuff into a closet and close the door? When my mom makes Pho, the smell goes EVERYWHERE and it can be mistaken for B.O., so we close the doors to our bedrooms, close the closets, and open all the windows. Question about hair! Ok so I'm gonna get a haircut and I want to get it cut short on the sides, but have the hair on the top of my head be about half and inch to 1 inch longer than the hair on the sides and back of my head. so like 1 inch on the sides and 2 inches on top. I'm planning on brushing it up in the front with gel. Right now my bangs are down to my eyebrows and it's swept to the side. Last time I got a haircut and tried to brush the front of my hair up with gel, it just didn't work. It parted in the middle and looked really gross and would eventually look like toben hair from maplestory ,__ , Is it possible to make my bangs just go straight down?
Life size replica of Pixars UP house. A group of homebuilders got together and decided to build a fully working, life size replica of the house from Pixar's UP. They made it exactly like the one in the movie, except they had to change the dimensions to make it a house big enough for humans. They even have the mailbox and the hose-wheel. :D The main difference is that there's a basement and a home-theater and since the whole house wasn't shown in the movie, the two bedrooms are based on Andy's room from Toy Story and Disney Princess-themed.
You wake up and- Your bed is floating in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. You look around and notice that there are other beds floating on the ocean. Each bed contains one basiler from this thread! Each of you has a 30 foot rope. The bottoms of your bed is like the material for emergency dingies on ships. Everyone is confused, this wasn't supposed to be expected. You and everyone else only has what was on their bed at the time they fell asleep (plus the rope.) No cell phone service, and it's about 10am. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Scrawny, gross asian boys What I noticed is that most, if not all, Asian boys are scrawny and gross. Worst of all: I was one of them! Sophomore year I realized how unattractive we looked to everyone else. I thought it was just people being ignorant. Nope, they're telling the truth. I changed my wardrobe, posture, got rid of my glasses, went into sports, and started working out. IT CHANGED MY LIFE. I ditched all my lame-o Asian friends and got a new group. I had to seriously step out of my comfort zone because I was super shy and all, but it was worth it.
How is a book an argument? I'm going into AP English and I have to read "The Grapes of Wrath" and "The Scarlet Letter" and write an essay on how the book is an argument and what it is arguing for. I don't understand what the teacher means by the book being an "argument." Can someone explain? Also, if you have read either of these books, are they really dull to read?
Basilers who work out? I need help, Basil! I want to start working out and get definition to my muscles, which I barely have. Never worked out before and I'm really scrawny/lanky. I really want my arms/chest to have muscle. I'm 16 and 5"7' and I have access to a gym. Is it possible to see results in 2 months? Plus, what should I avoid eating? I really want to get some muscle before school starts in 3 months. :l What workouts should I do?
What do you do to concentrate on schoolwork? I have a really hard time concentrating on my schoolwork because I'm easily distracted. I also procrastinate a lot and I don't know how to stop procrastinating! :( I only have a month and a half to read two books for my summer homework and also do assignments on both of them. Help with Cramer's rule? Alg. 2 I got homework on Cramer's rule for Alg. 2 and the teacher assigned a problem with a 3x3 matrices. My teacher thought that the book's way of solving the problem was too hard so she taught us her own way, which I guess is easier. The problem is: -x + y + z = -3 4x - y + 4z = -14 x + 2y - z = 9 I got A as: |-1 1 1| |4 -1 4| |1 2 -1| For det A, I got: 22 I got x = 18/22 (18 over 22) Feels like I did it wrong, so I didn't solve y and z. Can someone tell me if I got x wrong, and if I did can you tell me how to get it? I wanna solve y and z myself, I just need to know if I'm doing it right. Help please?
