You want the ipod for gaming? If you dont care about the price at all then you might as well get a samsung galaxy S3(16gb) since the screen is pretty big for playing on games on it, you can root it pretty easily and add 64gb more of memory if u buy a microSD card. That should be more than enough for all your songs+games. Or maybe the HTC One X or the Nokia Lumia 920
The S3 or One X or Nokia Lumia 920 would also be an upgrade to your phone so it'd all work out.

Then why do you need an iPod Touch? If you have a smartphone, it's an iPod Touch is useless.

It takes to long.
Seriously 4 months later after the 6.0 update and nothing. I already left the iOS since it is taking forever.
It took about 4 months (a bit less) for the iOS 5.0+ to get it and I had hope at the 4 months point but it is taking forever.
It's better to get an android device and root the device.
The dev team already has a rom made before that update even comes to your device (depending how popular it is).
there will also be a jb for the 5th generation. it's just a matter of time.
