Jetts unable to obtain Renegade Gift Box?

I was hoping to be able to receive the giftbox on my jett, however, it doesn't seem possible.

Is anyone having the same issue with their jett as well?
Also, does anyone know if you can use sharing tags on the hats? As a last resort I'll probably get the box on a different character and use them. -_-;
