But when I do that, my computer will have less defense and somebody could hack into my info easily

go to task manager and turn black cipher priority to low. I was lagging like crazy yesterday and then I changed the priority and then it went very smoothly.

Well if I do that then my computer/information will be easier to hack

Try turning the Picture quality and Effects to lowest.
