Basil needs a new forum
Basil Market needs a new forum subsection. I'm not submitting a ticket because I'm curious on how other people feel about this (I hope you don't mind, Mods.)
Anyways, I feel Basil needs a subsection entitled, "Begging and Advice" threads. Too many threads are being made about "Help me decide a world (job, Empress/reg, etc.)" and "Help me get started in Maple and/or make money."
Yes, I understand Basil market is a forum, but the sheer volume of these threads could be drastically reduced if there was a set forum where people could browse to find answers to their questions.
Does anyone else agree?

Well, I personally feel there is a slight problem with that subsection. It's way down on the page, and I doubt many people even see it. I'd never even heard of that forum before reading your post. I sort of meant a section for general questions that don't necessarily fall into one of the other categories. I'm sure not all of the people asking questions similar to "empress or no" and "what world" are new players or would consider themselves new players either.

Yep, and I even think that dividing up all jobs into individual sections is just not worth it. It's either having five kinda active sections or just one big general thief (for example) section that's very active. A lot of these sections are not getting attention and only focus on small groups of users.
Really, I could write a book on the changes I'd make to this site if I could. There's just so much confusion and wasteland on this site, and the big cause of it is that mrb won't let anyone else help him.
We need to get rid of about half the existing sections, honestly.
