WHY isn't Lupe Fiasco famous?
I mean, he's popular, but not enough. I mean c'mon. That's so much better than the other songs people sing along to about "tappin' dat". o_o

Lupe Fiasco is more famous than Waka, it's just that Waka is more popular now because Lupe is too complex for 90% of American teens.
I like the Modest Mouse version better o.o I was like this sounds familiar and then I realized it was just "Float On."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ge4BEdyZ8bM What you're looking for is at 3:06. Look closely at the eye and his hand. Then watch the frame after that where he laughs.
Interpretation is up to you.
I feel like making a whole other thread learning about the illuminati lolol
Sounds like every other modern rap song to me
Haha, don't talk about Lupe if you just listened to The Show Goes On and now you're on the bandwagon. From the start, Atlantic records was on his balls about his albums, which is why he has only two albums and 4 mixtapes. I personally like the mixtapes more than the albums, it shows the real Lupe.
He's not up there because he makes songs that requires people to think, not your typical "doing it with no hands" jam. Listen to Fahrenheit 1/15 and Revenge Of the Nerds and you'll know what I mean. His lyrically talent is up there, it's one of the best. His hype, not much because his record label likes to make people wait years for him to drop L.A.S.E.R.S.
>mfw people believe there's a devil and that he signs record labels
@Dtrix: im just waiting for flamers.
I know that *most* black rappers/hip-hop people are illuminati. I just dont understand what it is and the purpose of it. Like why is Rihanna, Jay-Z, Kanye, etc illuminati?
Because Lupe doesn't do what flocka does.
There's a video of him talking about himself and he said his label gave him a beat and lyrics and wanted him to make a song out of it . He didn't like it so he tweaked it and his label told him No. he didn't like being controlled like that so he went solo. He doesn't do what the mainstream wants.
Oh yeah, and he's not part of the illuminati, so that might add on to it.
lol illumati's a myth.
lol yeah, I like that song ;o
Then why is Waka Flocka Flame so famous <--- i hate him.
