The Whale Slaughter is Over If you all have seen the show "Whale Wars" you will know each whaling season the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society goes to the Antarctic Southern Ocean to protect the whales from the Japanese Whaling Fleet that kills the whales in the name of "Research". Well today Feb. 17th 2011, there has been great news. Its official, in the southern ocean, the Japanese whaling fleet finally called it quits after being pursued by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society since the start of the whaling season.
