I have a theory This theory is built upon the basis that men and women are equal. Equal, but not identical. In first world countries, we strive to give both sexes benefits to make up for the weak spots. In third world countries, men get drafted, risking their lives (usually against will) and end up sending money to the woman at home. The woman however is hard at work to fill the man's shoes. This equilibrium is what allows us to survive as a society.
