Are these temperatures okay?
I have a Core i5 Quad Core 2.8 Ghz and I overclocked it to 3.7 Ghz.
I am using a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus w/ 2 Fans.
The Temperatures are
Core 0 - 32 C
Core 1 - 28 C
Core 2 - 31 C
Core 3 - 25 C
If these temperatures are okay, I will overclock more but I'm not sure how far to overclock.
Could someone tell me a temperature range like if 50 C is fine or 40 or 60 or something as a guideline.
Cheers :]

@Hibrenator: Kay, try LinX as well; It's been said to be a more harsher stress tester than prime95, so it can give you a good confidence boost on whether your system is good-- http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=201670
Also, try checking out overclocking guides for the i5 online, those will probably help you greatly. Through some i7 guides and just overclocking guides in general, I can at least tell you this: try upping the base clock rather than increase the multiplier, some will tell you to up the voltage a bit to help you get to your desired speed before dropping the voltage slowly until it's just enough to keep it stable on full load, and so forth. Also make sure you know what are the safe ranges for temperature and voltage for your processor.
Which programs did you use to stress test? I've used prime95 and LinX for overclock stress testing and for safety's sake I ran each one for an overnight run before I deemed my system stable enough. I'd say try going up to 3.8; also make sure when overclocking that some power-saving features are disabled in the BIOS just in case they may mess up the overclock. On a personal note I believe my 4.01 Ghz i7 930 idles at ~40-something C, 191 base clock x 21 multiplier and 1.325 core voltage... I wonder if I should disable hyperthreading.
I used Prime95 :] Oh okayy cheers :]
Okayy, I overclocked to 3.5Ghz and I ran a Stress Test
All 4 Cores averaged about 50C and I ran the test all night and It's all good.
What Ghz should I try and test next? Cheers.
yup, flightmare is right... idle temps mean nothing unless you stress test your cpu
1st of all it has to be stable and 2nd it has to be stay cool while stress testing
Thankss! I'll look into that forum. Thanks for the tips =]
Okayy Cheers :]
Idle Is where you do nothing right? :]
This is my first time overclocking so I'm not sure how far I should go.
Is it dangerous or okay to go past 4.0 Ghz?
Edit:
Omg haaah :[
I realised my computer downclocked it self to 2.66Ghz for some reason :[
Those are VERY good temperatures lol
Up to 60C should be fine when your CPU is on idle
