Calling all techs, computer help needed Well recently my computer has been randomly freezing during gameplay like when i play maplestory or league of legends but it has also frozen while i was just on youtube. My computer didn't feel that warm for it to be overheating and i know it can handle the games since the graphics settings are on very high for league of legends with a solid 61 fps. I really don't know whats causing it, could i get some help or any ideas why it may be freezing? MotherBoard: Asus Sabertooth X58 DDR3 VGA: Asus 1GB GTX460 SE DirectCU CPU: Intel Core i7-950 HardDrive: WD 1TB RAM: PQI Turbo 6GB (2Gx3) DDR3 RAM PSU: Collermaster Centurion 5 ll Tower Case 500W
Help me choose a new Psu So basically if you read my previous thread, my current PSU is buzzing, sounds like a constant coil whine but only can be heard when it's quiet such as at night. Anyway, i can RMA it but can't be without a comp due to uni for too long so i'm looking at getting another one. Currently i have a Thermaltake Evo Blue 2.0 750W, was looking to get a bigger PSU such as a 850W or 1000W as i would eventually like to SLI 780Ti's, given i can find a card. With that in mind, i would also like to go full modular instead of semi (currently semi). Are there any PSUs that stand out atm, i noticed there are digital ones but what are they like? Thanks
Computer freezing, why? so lately my computer has been freezly randomly while im playing league of legends, (i also have maple open for the ring and skype). I scanned my computer with malwarebytes and nothing came up. I've also turned my fan to max and my computer doesn't feel hot enough to be overheating so what could cause my computer to freeze?
Water Cooling Hey everyone, so i was wondering if anyone has put together a water cooling system for their comp? if so, was it because your comp was overheating or because you wanted to and do you notice a difference? I haven't had any problems but I've seen people claiming it makes a massive difference but i somewhat doubt it. Also if you put one together how much did it cost?
Psu buzzing So my psu has started making a constant buzz, almost like coil whining recently, it is still under warranty and i could RMA it but i can't be without a computer for long due to my uni course heavily depending on a good comp and my laptop barely does it. Its a Thermaltake EVO Blue 2.0 750W, has anyone experienced something similar// know how long it could take to RMA or am i better off buying a new one?
