coins depend on what your buying i know gold ones are used for the weapons
silvers for most of the armor i think

Talk to Alcaster in El Nath, and given that you are a certain level, simply accept a quest concerning Alcaster's Crystal and Murt (of LHC). After this quest is complete you shuld be able to purchase Lion King items from Murt right away. This worked for me just this morning =]

You need to do his quests first
