Do you believe in magic

I just got myself into this subject of parapsychology, which is suggested by CNN hobby quiz as a potential hobby for me and the description for this subject is super cool, which is the study of paranormal phenomena such as telepathy, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, reincarnation, etc.

I don't know man, but I get super excited about it. I got some similar ideas from Elder Scrolls games where I train the skill of illusion to just mess around with monsters and people, as well as the art of alchemy where it supposed to turn gold into silver and ability to create potions and poisons.

Just a new topic that I thought might be interesting, what do you think?

Yes, in my religion it states in surah al Nas. Our prophet was feeling really sick. So the surah came in order to cure from the magic. I don't know if magic is still being used today.

I'm a big science fiction and fantasy fan so at heart I always want to believe in magic, but I've never seen anything in real life to make me think it is real.
However, the human body does produce a quantifiable magnetic field that can, at least theoretically, be manipulated by thought. A lot of Eastern religions/philosophies focus around this by teaching methods of self discipline to control Chi. I haven't done much research, but I think the possibility is there.

If there's one thing I truly believe, it's that humanity's potential is unlimited. We could definitely develop some interesting powers in our future.
@brandonisback who is to say? Where you there? I certainly don't know for a fact whether they actually practiced witch craft. Unless you talked to them directly you wouldn't know. Anyways most people are gonna deny/say they didn't use witch craft. Do you think that fact would actually end up in history lessons? Like I said there are still people who claim to be witches in salem and practice witch craft.
Witch Craft may be real, but that doesn't mean that it's magic.
The act of it is certainly real, but the effects can't be determined.
Yes there is magic. At least to some degree? I mean there are certainly still witches around. Even though I know most of their spells and stuff are just bs. Certainly not to the extent that you speak of. Most likely just gaining things like good fortune/misfortune to others etc. I live like 10 minutes away from Salem Ma. Where the salem witch trials occurred. Even though they really took place in danvers. Anyways ya so around here if you look for witches in salem you can find some lunatics who think they are witches.
Weren't the witch trials all a cover up by young children to get out of being punished for misbehaving..?
Pretty sure The Crucible was based on true events.. with real records of what went down.

I can already tell this is going to become a religious topic soon.

Anyways, no. Although it seems like it could have existed at one point in time, I don't believe the world would be how it is today if it did exist.

In a young girl's heart

Personally, I wouldn't call most of those "magic", more of phenomenon that I haven't decided on whether to believe is true or not
