So lost in these updates, help

So I read about the kaiser, luminous, and angelic buster updates but I left in october for a short break for personal things. Now I have free time again and I'm back and so lost! I just need some help with a few things, and if you could link me somewhere to answer them all shortly that'd be great also.

Have there been any huge economy changes?

Are any classes OP right now?

Any new events that added permanent things (EX: a new party quest or new area?)

Should I come back? (I would come back to my phantom and start a kaiser probably)

Has maplestory gotten better or worse in the last few months in your opinion?

And finally as I said I want to try out a kaiser but what are your opinions on choosing one out of kaiser angelic buster and luminous?
