@qtprincessxoxo: As I said I passed through melbourne once or twice while on a "exploration kick" never stayed more than a day. also It's been over a year since I went to oz so I doubt im much help. all I can really remember about things to do are all sydney related. However the bridge climb thing was amazing dispite the $100 guided version(sydney). I'm more of a culture/scenery buff =).

I've been to most of Australias "tourist" cities. spent alot of time in sydney and brisbane(Bree<3) passed through melbourne once or twice. I love seeing market type areas where people sell handmade stuff but the waterside was beautiful.
