Divine shield glitched?

I noticed divine shield works differently now. It doesn't disappear after all the guard hits are gone and still adds the attack boost. My range is still affected by it but the damage output is lower than when I have the "guard" effect on. Is this a glitch or is this how it's supposed to work? The damage is extremely noticeable. It goes from 670k 600k per hit.

Was testing against Lyka since it'd be easier to see a difference in numbers I'm used to seeing. (Using blast, posted average critical line numbers)

300-320k with Divine actively up

280-300k with Divine up, but actively down (All guards expired).

280-300k without Divine shield at all.

That really sucks. I hope nexon does something about this. Another glitch in the game.

I lost all the damage from the guards. I really thought it kept on going because it added to my range but I noticed the output was different from before.

From what I last remember on my experiences with my Paladin, the Damage boost was in effect even after Divine Shield wore off. It does show on my range but believe it still worked like it should.

It shouldn't be glitched. They changed it on the Champions update to where you get the Attack boost for the full 60 seconds rather than until you ran out of Guards

It's something that has been in place since Champions around half a year ago. But it seems like, according to this thread, that after the guard counts are gone, the attack boost only shows up on your range but does not actually affect your damage. So that would be a glitch.

I didn't notice this till recently too
your range stays the same but the effect of the attack boost goes away after 12 guards

basically if you are tanking your effective dpm drops by about 5% or so

I'm not so sure how it works. I was almost certain that the attack boost was always on.
