Nobody has posted one yet as far as I'm aware. I enjoyed making one for my Sair because of how much I love the class and Thunder Breaker's revamp got me as excited as the one for Sairs. You don't have to follow this if you don't want to. Constructive criticism is always welcome as long as it's actually constructive. Question parts of the builds if you don't like them and I will be happy to explain my reasoning behind it. If you're right I'll change it. I'll be adding more information later to go along with the builds.

Explanation: Our two attacking skills first to be able to train. Lightning Elemental for a useful buff. Then Electrified to increase the effects of that buff. Finally dump points into Flash and Lightning Punch. Max Flash only because it has potential to be used later.

Explanation: All of our attacking skills get one point so we can train efficiently. Max Mastery for more damage stability, then Lightning Boost for more damage overall. Gains gets maxed next. After that Booster and Tidal Crash because they are used up through 4th job. Finally dump the rest of the points into Shark Sweep. It's a nice skill but not used as much as later skills.

Results: Everything maxed except for Thunder which is left with 14 SP

Explanation: Again we get our attacking skills first. Link Mastery to give us the extra damage for our Ascension and Thunder combo along with any other attacking skills that we chain together. Lightning Lord is another boost to Lightning Elemental so that comes first for our buffs. Ironclad for a nice defensive boost along with a slight damage increase. Gale comes next. It was only pushed back this far because at max level it has a cool down of 20 seconds. Our first active hyper skill, Primal Bolt, removes the cool down later but for now we have to deal with it. Lastly max Seawall for elemental resistance and then dump the remaining points into Thunder. The only reason that Thunder isn't maxed is because the only skill that can be chained into it is Ascension. It cannot be chained into any other skill.

Results: Everything maxed.

Explanation: One point into our attacking skills as normal as well as a point into Speed Infusion. Luckily we require no skill books so there are no worries about not being able to afford/find them. First, like most jobs now, comes expert. It gives a nice stability boost to our damage. Thunder God for another boost to Lightning Element. I debated which should be maxed first, Arc Charger or Electrify. After a long internal struggle I put Electrify first because it requires a third of the SP that Arc Charger does and it also gives us a nice defensive boost. Arc Charger doubles our attacks except that it doubles them at 40% power. Cygnus Knights comes next just because we don't require mastery books and a free 15% all stat is always welcome. Typhoon gets maxed next only because of how close to 150 you are when you start to put points in. At 150 our hyper skill, Primal Bolt, removes the cool down on Gale. Thunderbolt for more mobbing abilities then Annihilate for 1v1. Either of these two skills can be maxed first. Finally max Speed Infusion as it is useful but not useful enough to be put earlier.

Hyper Skills


Hyper skills are received at 140. For stat enhancing boosts you receive 6 SP while for passive skill boosts you get 5 SP.

Hyper Strength - Permanently increases STR (+50) - Lv 140
Hyper Dexterity - Permanently increases DEX (+50) - Lv 140
Hyper Defense - Permanently increases Weapon DEF (+500) - Lv 165
Hyper Mana - Permanently increases Max MP (+15%) - Lv 186
Hyper Health - Permanently increases Max HP (+15%) - Lv 192
Hyper Critical - Permanently increases Critical Rate (+10%) - Lv 198

Pretty basic according to need. Hyper Dexterity is the only odd choice and it's because it still increases your damage even if it's a small amount.

Skill
Gale - Reinforce: Damage: +20%
Gale - Extra Strike: Number of Attacks: +1
Thunderbolt - Reinforce: Damage: +20%
Thunderbolt - Extra Strike : Number of Attacks: +1
Annihilate - Reinforce: Damage: +20%
Annihilate - Guardbreak : Monster DEF ignored increased: +20%

Gale and Thunderbolt hypers to increase your mobbing capability. Guardbreak over Boss Rush for the second Annihilate hyper because of the change in formula for PDR from additive to multiplicative.

For fourth job I did something else (note I was already 120).

I 1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1/1 everything.
Then I put 10 on Speed Infusion for the 200seconds cooldown and it matches booster = speed = more attack/second. Also it is a party skill so can go in parties faster.
Maxed Arc Charger (it acts like shadowpartner but 40% of the damage = extra damage = kill faster).
Now maxing Knuckle Expert for more damage.

I also recommend max Electrify (since it is level 10) asap since our HP actually dropped.
So I might stop maxing Knuckle Expert and max Electrify so I can get more HP and get more avoid and less damage intake.

Doesn't even matter at 4th job what to max first, since we have no books and in the end it all maxes out.

3rd job. Why leave Ascend maxed and Thunder at 14?
If you leave each one at 17, you can end up with both maxed if you use a Leafre Codex Set and Empress armor. Granted, it's not as good as the more recent endgame armor, but still a good pick for those who aren't completely loaded with mesos.

@BBD: Always max expert first. It gives a much higher damage output than SI or Arc Charger and it also stabilizes your damage. Thunder God also gives more of a boost to your damage than Arc Charger. I'm not bashing AC but those two skills are better. The only reason I have Electrify before AC is because we lost some hp compared to before.

@Satoshi1234: Ascend can be chained to moves other than Thunder. Thunder can only be chained to Ascend. The higher percentage Ascend has at max level isn't much of a boost but because we can still use it in chains it makes it worth maxing. Most people aren't going to have an Empress set as well as the Leafre Codex. I personally don't have the Leafre because I can never find anyone to do the HT prequests with and I'm in a large alliance.

You should also provide a list of combos ^^ ie what provides the highest dps, what's the most useful for clearing long platforms vs small more scattered ones, etc

I've gotten mine to 141 and using your build seems to work really well, no changes here

@PhantomChickens: I can try to figure that out. Mine is currently only 79 because I deleted my 120 TB to restart the class but From what skills I have so far I can figure out what to advise.
