Age old question? Fp vs IL is it just me, or after BB, do fp's completely outshine ils? (4th job, using all skills). I'm kind of thinking paralyze is kinda >cl in almost every way. Cl has 1V1 Crit Paralyze has freezing (i know its not, but it works the same) DoT near damage without DoT hits twice as many enemies Less damage reduction (if any) I mean, wasn't the original intent of the Mage class mobbing (or support, but im talkiing about MAGE, not magicians). Fp's original intent was mob damage/Dot il's original intent was semi damage +control. I just don't think its balanced AFTER BB Sorry, I just made a poll yesterday... Are there any drawbacks to paralyze or boosts to CL that would make them semi-equal, (are they the same attack speed,
Potentialing ewand 3 or 4? I'm getting 25$ worth of nx soon, and im finishing up my nx outfit (if u notice, all I need is the shield). Then I'm buying an ewand 4, (i have an ewand 3), and then the next part is my problem. Ima buy 3 gfas and get my mount, but i wanna potential my ewand 4. Ill have 42m to do it with, and one miracle cube. Is it worth it? What things will it have? Im hoping that an ewand can get poison, and that it wont get level 1 ice (il+icebased mobs=fail) Plz post any threads like this. Ive seen a level 30 bow get level 2 poison, so i hope i get that for my ewand. Just to make it more clear, should i use it on ewand 3 or 4, if 3 blows up im dead, but i wont need 4 for a while. Should i get advanced or regular? What kinds o
Mages after jump (Recent changes) I'm just taking out all the good things and putting them into paragraphs because nexon released some changes to the potential changes. If you've checked spadow recently, leave this thread. The purpose is to remind everyone that we get buffed in the future. Bishops:With the new patch approaching, bishops become EXTREMELY useful, especially to other mages. A -20% mp consumption is over an 18% decrease in total pot usage, or more per hour. Holy shield protects us from damage, and *Hopefully* 1/1. A party of three mages could actually do some damage now, and is probably the most efficient farming party apart from 5 cbs and a nl; if merching ever becomes useless. Angel ray also hits 5 monsters now, doom has a co
changed sp builds Now we dont have enough sp to max all of our skills! We are 12 shy! What skills are not required to max? I'm stuck between blizzard and mana reflection.

Bishop Vs F/p Mage? I'm recently coming back to Maplestory (quit after big bang), and I have a 133 bishop. I enjoy healing people and providing support, even if it was a minimal amount of it; I used to freeze mobs for friends while grinding on this same character (transferred to bishop). Due to the changes in Ice lightning mages, I stopped enjoying playing them because the "freeze" is really just a glorified slow + defense removal. I now have a 133 bishop, and play with a small group of friends (4-5, who are also willing to start new characters if I make a fire poison mage). I have always admired the f/p mage's poison mist skill, and especially like any form of persistent damage (i.e. any tangible thing like minions or large persi
How does infinity skill work? How does infinity work? I know it gives like 10% damage boost every 6 seconds ( it says 4 or something), but is it still a party buff? I don't know korean so can you please post some videos or explain in english?
