Guide for Paladins - Information Collection

Dear Paladins,

I've started updating the Post-Big-Bang Paladin guide and I need help from people to compile a list of training spots and %/hr rates.

This topic can be an area for posting your data at certain training spots, thoughts on the contents of the guide and anything you would like added to the guide. Let's make it a community effort and get a really amazing collection of data out of it.

Going to try Brextons during 2x.
I'll post up results after.

I killed both paps available for the day in 15 minutes (with some jostling to get a 2nd crack) on 1.2x to get 25%.

142 At dark cornians, I am getting about 18-19% an hour.
I'm trying to be a 1h blunt weapon user because swords are so expensive. I was wondering if it would be a good idea. I don't really care too much about DPS or anything like that. I just want to be strong. Also where should a level 144 Paladin train. Everywhere seems slow.
lol you can't be strong if you don't care about DPS...unless you have an insane 1h blunt weapon that would far exceed the cost of getting a equally powerful sword (in terms of DPM)
lvl 129
Grim phantom watch
48%/hr
2069397/15min [exp]
8277588/1hr [exp]

Looks like my training spot is always empty so that means no one trains here

Monster are lvl 124 and give 2050 exp while mobbing A LOT
That makes no sense...I'm not trying to be demeaning or anything, but if your range posted in the Paladin damage range thread is correct, then my range is about 1.5x higher than yours...so why am I only getting 36% at 129? Teach me your ways >:o

Ghost Pirates:
111: 47%/hr, Normal(6), 140% speed

EDIT: MP3 is *way* better for me, and it's impossible to pull a priest to GPs.

Mysterious Path 3:
101: 240%/hr, 2x (CS surprise) + HS, Normal(6), 138% speed (lol)
107: 75%/hr, Normal(6), 138% speed

I just tried Lycans at lv128; I got 9% in 15 mins of 1.2x, so that scales to about 30% an hour.
I don't really like it there; the ice makes it really annoying, esp when you have to go up an incline. Additionally, if you sweep left and right you'll find places where rush won't activate, which is also a bit of a peeve.
I think Grims are better. Red Dragon Turts might also be good, but I like Grims cause i can pap easily, which nets me around 30% with both runs on 1.2x, not including additional exp from using the rest of my 1.2x at Grims. The only irking thing about Grims is that they dont drop mp pots (ffffuuuuuuu-).

Also: I looked at your postBB guide, and I'd like to suggest adding a non-holy build in there. There are plenty of fire/ice/lightning places which are just as good as, if not better, than holy places in your 12Xs and 13Xs (I can't actually think of a decent holy place off the top of my head). Anyways, what I did (so far) was similar to the Defensive build. I did (in order) 1 rush, 10 ACB, 10 divine shield, and 6 blast (going to max). I might put 1 point in guardian for lv3's 11% block rate. I think it's a pretty good build - I'm getting around ~36% per hour, even when I spend time looting most of my drops.

Level 156: 13-14% per hour at RoR3. Slightly better than what I expected..don't really like the map though.

Lv 128, 22% on 1.2x at Grim Watches.
25% in 15 minutes at Pap

Tried Slimies post nerf.

100: 64.98%/hr at GS2, 138% speed, Normal(6) 2H sword.

Took 3-4 hits to kill one, and there were a few misses.

@mancartia In my case I was there as the powerhouse, but started slacking on targa, so I suppose it'd have been a different experience >_>

From about level 12 to 26 I trained at Blue Ribbon Pigs, and that was absolutely godly exp. Once I was 26 I went over to the Mixed Golem mini dungeon, and was once again amazing exp, I think I leveled up from 25 to 26 in 11 minutes. Sorry I don't have the exact %/hr or anything, I wasn't really paying the utmost attention. Well I'm level 30 now and with 2x tomorrow and everything, what would be a good place to train? I have quite a bit of free time and would like to take advantage of it A mini Dungeon would be great, so I don't have to deal with ksers. But I can always go for a normal map.

Obviously I had other people there, so I can't post a pure report, but a run of Scarlion and Targa consecutively netted me 4% the other day.

I have 13.3k max clean range now... Tried grims the other day and they're nowhere near meaty enough for me. Even blue wyverns feel a bit too flimsy for me to train on >_> skeles are pretty good though, even with the low hit rate on the lv153 ones. Brextons are pretty fun to train at with their new map even though I 1hit them with acb >_> give brextons a try @flamez09 :0
lvl 116, blue kents, 4%/10 minutes or 24%/hour lol.
lvl 116-118, dual ghost pirates - 42-48%/hr. The duals spawn is really nice.

Any 12x paladin training spots yet?
Definitely grims - no argument there. It's still good a 14x with my incredible 7000 max range
Following up on this post: 83%/hr at 98 at Mr. Anchor with 120% speed equips and a Normal(6) 2H sword. Once I hit 100 and get a Sparta I'll grab some speed pills and 8 speed shoes; will post new results.
I decided to cut it short and grab my speed gear/pots before leveling again. My exp/hr shot up slightly.

Level 99: 89%/hr, Normal(6) 2H sword, 138% speed.

I believe that if I had a little more jump I would be able to hit the top platform by simply jumping + CBing. 105% doesn't cut it.

I was asking if there is a training area for 140+ that is as good as Oblivions used to be.
Even if I could get to Oblivion (which I can't since I'm not high enough level), I wouldn't be able to hit them.
I've been getting ~16%/hr at skeles at lv148. Not too bad I guess. I'm bored as crap though... been stuck at skeles for a year now with my bishop, fp and pali combined! /sob

2 more levels till I can get to RoR... I cant wait T_T
Yes, strato, excellent idea! It seems i have experimented on 2 monsters which i though wasn't going to be good but it turns out, they ain't soo bad, the spawns are good, you save tons of potions and map is small/easy to navigate and training goes very fast. The first monster that i'm talking about is the slimies for lvl 92 giving 680 exp per kill, although i only collected data at lvl 92 T.T, anyways, at 98, from slimies, i manged to get 8.08% in 8 mins which is erm ok, and the next 8 mins i trained on the monster with speed gear which i got 9.88%, a tad bit higher, not a great increase but decent enough. The second monster i tested was Mr. Anchor at lvl 98 giving 850 exp per kill, I tested this monster with speed gear on another 8 mins, using a warrior elixer for att boost and for timing and i got a heaping 11.88% which i thought was, "Woah, I didn't expect this kind of exp!" so ya, basically i recommend, slimies for 92 and over and Mr. Anchor for 98 to a level i haven't quite tested yet, but i think it'll be good to about 102 or so, anyways, for level 92s training at slimies, you might be shocked to get tons more exp from i have and of course, have ground smash at 18 or so and speed gear if you want a increase in exp rate, that goes for the Mr. Anchor, you'll be using mostly mp pots but stock them good, and just barely any hp pots I hope this experiment is good enough because i got no evidence of how good of an exp you'll gain on slimies at lvl 92 xD

Edit: Oh and i got 87% per hour at Mr. Anchor at lvl 99

I pulled 7.5% an hour at skeles on 2x last week. Either I wasn't sued to the new skillset, i was laggy, or skeles got nerfed and are not viable for any real length of time anymore >_>

EDIT: @gtbrox, on that note I pulled a pap solo in like 4 - 5 minutes for 2% at 155.
Gratz, that's faster than me! Try RoR3, might be faster for you.
Umm I timed it today and got ~10% per hr at RoR3.
I partially solo-ed Bodyguards A+B in ~45 minutes. Originally it was going to be a duo but the bm died within like 2 minutes so I had like 2 minutes of se and used 1 apple and 2 energizers. Hopefully that qualifies as a solo, if not, just add like 15-20 more minutes to my kill time. =D

I get about 12%/hr at Grims at 148, so I expect there's potential for 20%/hr +
Anyone getting at least 20%/hr at 14x?

Because I was getting -at least- that much at Obv4 before, and am not interested in training unless it's actually faster now.
You'll have to open up oblivion 4 again to find out. All of the ToT quests were reset

@ 132-134 Papulatus gave me about 9% (18% from killing him twice)
and took about 7-9 minutes per kill. (4-6 minutes with max Heaven's hammer.)
@ 132 Grim phantom watches gave 25%/hr
@ 133 Red Wyverns gave 23%/hr
@ 135 Lycans gave 25%/hr
@ 136 Zombies gave 21%/hr
@ 136 Bains gave 24%/hr

My % may be incorrect, since I am missing SP and cannot max blast atm.

I hope this won't be too offtopic for you, but if you have the time, a bossing guide would also be nice. Big bang has really opened the doorway to paladin bossing. I myself, along with other paladin friends in broa have been able to solo such bosses as Zakum and scar/targa thanks to damage increases from blast/acb and other advantages we have now, and I encourage other WKs and paladins to do the same. There are many elemental bosses, and the more we boss, and show others what we can do, the more likely we'll be considered a bossing class. Anyways, I'll try to see if I can come up with a vid or some sses and stuff.
As for training % I'll try to time it at RoR2 tomorrow.

22% in 50 minutes from a bodyguard A, on 1.2x. Level 144, so it could've been way faster if I didn't miss 40% of the time. :-)
