that thing dossnt even pop up for me all that happens is i get an error report thing

x.x the download for the file is 30 minutes long

Suggestions:
Try using a different browser.
Try installing Java (I have no idea how this would help)
Get Maplestory on Steam (install [url=http://store.steampowered.com/about/]steam[/url] first)

Look up your model
Select whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7 (You need to select the one that you have)
Download and install the VGA driver.

Those are pretty much the specs of your computer, on the link I gave you, click on the DirectX 9 and let it download and install. For your video card click on the brand icon of your video card and let it update.

Yeah HackSheild and BlackCipher Load but then after that i get the error report message but no actual error and how would i know if my drivers were out of date you're really a big help

@mapleGMS: hmmm i dont understand why maple wont run though

Going back to the issues, when you start the game does it pass after the blackcypher or the hackshield? If it doesn't, could you please turn off your windows firewall and antivirus or any kind of protection software that contains a firewall and see what happens?

Note: Also make sure that all your drivers are up to date since it's a brand new laptop. Also check out if you have the last directX version [url=http://maplestory.nexon.net/support/game-download]here[/url]

What I had to do is make a shortcut of maplestory.exe and that should work.

Are you getting "Not compatable" error? Because thats what I was getting when i purchased my laptop a few months ago.

My brother in law recently had the same problem. Make sure all of your drivers are updated.
