Why is everything interesting at night In the afternoon I'm like: "OMG BORED." And at 2 in the morning I'm like: "THE INTERNET IS SO INTERESTNG." :( Relate?
I have a one hundred percent useless sibling He's not particularly intelligent. (He doesn't even speak with proper grammar. He started speaking when he was FOUR. He has the reading level of a child four years younger than him.) He's plays games more than 12 hours a day. He doesn't have ANY hobbies. (except games) He doesn't have ANY social skills. (Friends? He has no friends.) He's not good at ANYTHING. (Even in his game, he doesn't rank very high. He doesn't play instruments or has any artistic ability) He's dull and uninteresting (stemming from his lack of hobbies). ("So what do you like to do?" "I dunno.") He's not athletic. (Stick thin. And even in sports, he takes forever to understand the rules.) He probably has a
I lost my A because I got a 100 in my presentation The story is that I had a 113% in my quiz category and when my teacher put in an 100% for a presentation in the same category, the quiz average dropped to 106%. Which dropped my overall grade by 0.7%. My teacher is only willing to round semester grades up if you have a 89.5% overall, and I currently have a 89.01%. I don't know. I thought it was completely unfair. She refuses to null the grade. Is there anything I can do?
How did Romeo contribute to his and Juliet's death? Last reason for the essay, can't choose between these two: * COULD of made better decisions - - - talked to the Capulets about his relationship with Juliet, miiiiiight of made things all right (I mean, Capulet didn't kick him out of the party, right? He doesn't hate him) - - - could of stayed in Mantua - - - could of asked the Friar what happened to Juliet - - - - he didn't even know how she died, wasn't he curious at all? Weird. - - - killed Paris - - - - WHY? * MADE bad decisions - - - left Mantua - - - married Juliet - - - made that poor apothecary sell him poison - - - killed himself - - - - which doomed the story to a bad ending
Theres a frog in our brains Well, not literally. But. I was stalking Wikipedia and I saw this page: And I was scrolling down and I saw the animation and I just like FROZE and my brain went, "what the hell?" so I waited and YES, my brain wasn't playing tricks on me, I definitely saw a frog. See? Maybe I'm just insane.
An ant or a ant? Read it out loud. Same with "a university" and "an university". Which is right? EDIT: Yes, I know the rule! It's just that sometimes using "an" sounds different or strange.
What do you hate about the way your school is run? Guys, please help me. I'm trying to collect ideas for a video that'll illustrate some ideas that schools can use for improvement. So. What do you hate about the way your school is run?
First AP Class, so tiring. AHH I'm getting a lot more homework than I'm used to! Not trying to complain, but seriously, I've been working 5 hours on the weekend homework already, and I'm still not done. (taking a break right now) I'm taking World History... my teacher's really good though, so I'm happy about that. :P Do AP classes get easier as you take more of them? AP classes are "college" level, right? Geez, if I have -this- much work with only -one- class, imagine college. @_@
How much revision is too much? writing So my A-student friend is doing a Spanish story, and I revised it, since (according to her), I'm the "awesomest at Spanish". While almost 95% of the grammar was correct, it was filled with stylistic errors (the teacher didn't teach us about stylistic errors, so these corrections were my own doing). She told me to not hold back, and edit as much as I could. So I did, and er, my revisions and comments ended up being twice as long as her original story. She seems to be taking the whole thing in stride, but I'm feeling a little guilty. I pretty much tore apart her whole story and rewrote it for her. Before revising, I gave her original draft a B, and -now- I still think it's only A- material. Sho

So disappointed about semester grades I just finished the first semester of my sophomore year of high school, and I have to say I'm disappointed. Freshman Year: (first semester, second semester) Physical Education: A / A Art: A / A Physics: A / A English 1 Honors: A / A Spanish 1: A / A Algebra 2: B / B (86%/88%) Sophomore Year: AP World History: B (89%) Spanish 2: A Biology: A Physical Education: A Pre-Calculus: B (88%) English 2 Honors: A ...so there goes my GPA. I tried so hard for Pre-Calc and WHAP but I somehow fell short with a 88 and 89, respectively. WHYYYY. So how are your grades? :|
Parents are fighting, help me. Basic overview: * My mum is one of those types of people that are awesome when you first meet but after a while you don't want anything to do with. * My mum is friends with this gay guy, and she went to Cancun with him and one other girl and they stayed in one room together and everything. My dad was a little triffled by this. Yes, he's gay, but he's a guy. I don't know what to think of this. * My mum recently quit her office job, it was $1200 a month for 12 days a month. She couldn't take her boss. She now just teaches dance a few times a week. * My mum's boss is starting to disrespect her, because she's being a b*tch. * She thinks that after apologizing everything will be better, for every situation. * My mu
When's your summer break? :) Mine's over in 4 school days.
Which one of these two look better? I'm designing the tickets for a party a client is hosting. So yeah. Which one looks better? Note that the party is being hosted at a night club, which is why she likes the blue theme, but she also thought the purple/orange one was pretty and is closer to 'Thanksgiving colours'.
its 523 and i cant sleep My God, I feel so "dirty" right now. I really want to shower, maybe I'll stop getting this "itch" to do something. I don't even know what I'm itching to do. But people are sleeping, don't want to wake anyone... I've never gotten insomnia before. It frightens me. Sunrise at 6:01. Should I shower while the sun rises? I have a high window where you can see the sky at all times. Yeah, I'll go do that, it'll make that cyptic morning start feeling.
I gained 5 pounds in the last couple of months The past few days I've been nomming on caramel popcorn like no tomorrow, with no exercise. fffffffff--- Well that sucks.
