Why is there such a price difference with items? I see 2%luk top/bottoms for like 5m or less, then 3%luk top/bottoms for 15-20m. 4% goes up to like 80m. Then at 6% they are like 300-400m. It really doesn't add that much that there should be a 200m price jump. Anyone else confused with these prices? EDIT: I had a % symbol in the title but it deleted it. It should say "% items"
Can somebody explain this Herbalism stuff to me? There's 2 things that are majorly pissing me off with this. 1. Why the hell do herbs sometimes take two tries to harvest? Like it shows the whole animation but then nothing happens and I have to wait for the cooldown to try again. I don't recall reading anywhere that this should happen. 2. What the hell determines that lets you into the secret herb patches? It lets me in when I have no ticket, then it doesn't. Ticket says I can enter 3 times, but I enter once and I can't go back in. I don't see info about this anywhere either. WHAT. THE. HELL. HALP.
Serious question, how do people get so much money Okay I know the first answer everyone will give is "Merch, NX" But I'm looking for a more in depth answer. I know people with like 70-100% main stat for their job, and I say to myself "It can't be THAT hard to get" Then I browse the FM to see items with like 10% main stat, for max money. WTF. Why is something with like 10-15% main stat selling for max money, and how do people afford to get multiple items like that? I really refuse to believe that people spend over a thousand dollars on this game, even in a lifetime but sadly they do. I have a lv 156 Phantom with about 16% luk and a 123 attk cane. I really miss the old FM I miss being able to go through the FM and find everything you were looking for, or finding something cheap that you could use. Now every room is flooded with scrolls, mastery books, high level stuff, and overpriced....everything. I miss hunting the FM for level 40-50 stuff, pan lids, esther shields, Kumbi's/Steely's, etc. You know, the stuff people actually care about? I mean, now I can level fast enough to skip a set of armor, and since the DEF system changed it's not even a big deal anymore, but it's still ridiculous. I used to hit level 40 and go searching for all my stuff, and 75% of the time would be able to find it. Now you don't even have a chance of finding anything under level 70. Anybody else agree?
Hi basil, I havent played maplestory in over a year now Hi, I was thinking about coming back and seeing what's up but there seems to be so much new content since I've been gone. I quit I think right before Angelic Bursters were released (I know I was playing a Kaiser though). So I was wondering if someone could give me a general rundown of all the new stuff that's been going on. New classes, areas, items, skills, revamps, etc. My main is a Phantom also, so if anyone could tell me how they are now because they had just gotten a big nerf when I played and I was hoping they were balanced out. Just came back from a hiatus since before the Red update Should I use my Phantom (172) or my Xenon (139)? Both pretty much unfunded with 25% LUK ish on equips. I really enjoy both but which is more worth it to play now? ALSO, Best skills for each job to steal on Phantoms now?
Gold Beach knight mini dungeon? I was training and randomly a Warning sign popped up and I had to fight a black knight with a move that was similar to kaisers, with a 30 minute time limit. Then there was a bonus stage after I beat it. Not sure what happened but I can't find anything about it. Any idea what happened?
Complaint about PvP There are a few things that are really annoying me about the new PvP. The first thing is all the godly players dominate as always instead of it being a fair fight. It makes it not even fun when I get 1HKO'ed before I can even finish buffing. Also the buffing, where did the platform go that you can buff on instead of almost dying by the time you go and fight. And the modes are gone, it's all freeforall now. No team battles or anything, which makes the classes like Mechs and Bishops who can heal always win over others. Nexon has turned the game into whoever buys the most NX always does best. /rant
How has Nexon not fixed all these stupid glitches? They run a very popular game and make tons of money off of it every year, yet my character still gets stuck in 2 major cutscenes for Beasts of Fury and Black Heaven Act 1, both which I now cannot advance in. That plus a maintenance which was extended to double the time they said YET AGAIN, which they can easily just make the estimated time longer in the beginning. I love the game, played for 10 years but god damn Nexon has to be the worst company for running a solid game. On a side note, anyone else stuck on the 2 cutscenes listed above?
Cash shop shop If I buy a shop on one character, can I use it with any other characters in the account? Or at least in the same world?
Got Nexond with the Dual Blade Ring All the other rings were tradable through the account, so i made a Dual Blade today and got it all the way to 50 just to find that you need a sharing tag. Thank you Nexon for being greedy. Wasted a few hours on that character.
Im tired of everything being so expensive When I first started maple 8 years ago, the most expensive things I remember were like 10m, and it was the really good stuff. The past 3-4 years has brought up prices so much though. If you want anything decent from the FM, it costs an arm and a leg! Most people who play usually won't go out and merch 24/7 like the people who control the prices do. We don't have that much money and we usually value our untradable event items very much. I just wish I could go out and get a decent weapon (because we don't have the funding to scroll items to max potential like the people in the FM do) without having to use up 90% of my money. I mean, people go and sell items that everyone gets from the same event for 1

Cant remember my password, email hacked, site doesnt work Basically the title, I couldn't remember my password from when I made the account since I used the site to log in for years, and about a year ago my email I used to make most of my accounts for things was hacked and password changed, so I can't get in to reset any password for games anymore. Now the site isn't letting me log in since it keeps telling me to download the game again. The launcher works but I need my password... This kind of sucks. When will Nexon fix the site?
How can I stop myself from DCing overnight? Most of the time overnight I leave maplestory running so I can leave my shop up. Alot of time I come back to an error message saying "maplestory has stopped working" and I look in the background of the game, and almost nothing has changed since the monitor went to sleep, which means that as soon as it goes to sleep I DC. When I have it up during the day it's fine I never DC, but something about overnight makes it crash. Now overnight I don't actually put the computer to sleep, I have it set to "Never Sleep", only the monitor shuts off. What could be causing this and how can I stop it? -Shop overnight crashes -Don't put computer to sleep mode -How can I prevent this.
