It's generally accepted that % min crit is the most helpful. I don't play Xenon, to be fair, so I don't know much about your crit rate, but 10% min crit is extra damage on all monsters, whereas % boss only has an effect on bosses.

Honestly, I just ran the numbers and its really close, in the long run you're going to want to ditch the Sylph ring if you plan on tackling endgame bosses anyway.

But to answer your question, get the %boss one if you can't afford a full RA set and if you don't have all the %boss/%total damage link skills.

If you do have those, get the %min crit -- but don't expect any major damage increase by doing so. It'll be better in the long run but as stated, the difference is negligible, though as you gain more and more %boss/%total damage, the gap will increase, and it's a bit harder to acquire %min and %max crit than %total damage/%boss.

However, keep in mind that to take full advantage of the %min crit ring, you'll want as much %crit as possible. Not having 100% crit further diminishes its potential.

% Min Crit will serve you a lot longer than % Boss Damage. As stated above, the ring isn't endgame but until then - I'd go with % Min Crit.

%min crit is huge! u can only get %min crit from gloves, se or skills, so you wanna take advantage

Actually, a fully maxed out sylph ring with 10% min crit is endgame. It's approximately equal to a 15% all stat cracked ring.

Assume your min crit is 150 and max crit is 160, and crit rate is 100% Your average crit is therefore 155. A 10% increase in min crit results in an average crit damage of 160. 160/155 = 1.032 =>3.2% dps boost.

For a person with 200-300% all stat, and 100% base, about what you need to cap CVellum, that's worth around 400*3.2 = 12-13% all stat. Then you add in the stats from the ring itself, and you get roughly 15%. You can even neb it, though I personally wouldn't bother since it's untradable.

I replaced my cracked for a max crit sylph ring and saw much better results.
I'm probably gonna replace my max crit sylph for min this time around If i can...

Would go for the min.

Min Crit does hit diminishing returns rather quickly if you can get an average crit damage of 200% or higher.
At 200%, a 10% increase to min crit is a 5% increase overall. A bump from 200 to 205 is only 2.5% instead of 3.2%.
Then with 300% stat and 100% base, that's only worth 400 * 2.5 => 9% stat, maybe 11% after stats. This would be easy to beat at endgame.
Though honestly 15% isn't that hard to beat at endgame either...

True, for certain classes with high max/min % crits, the sylph ring is only worth like 10% ish stat. But for Xenons who only have around 50-60% min/max crit, and who generally only need 10-15% all stat equips to cap Snipe on CVel, it's endgame.

You can get min crit on bonus potential as well. I've managed to pull % min crit on a leg bonus pot of my hat (it added about 3%). Though rareish, I would imagine that if you really wanted to, you can opt to go for min crit on bonus pot if need be. That being said, I'd stray away from the ring since end game wise, a 21%+ pot scrolled superior/ reinforced/ solid/ lgr/ scarlet ring/ cracked ring will more than likely best the boost from the min crit. Considering that by that amount of funding you will probably be capping anyways, min crit is useless as it doesn't affect summon damage or dot (for a xenon, this would include maybe summoning a boss soul or your skills that may not be impacted by boss/ % damage skills if any?). If anything, a line of min crit on tyrant gloves with stats would suffice
