It's pointless to rage; unfortunately, many immature players see it as a perfectly fine way to argue. I'll admit that I have lost my temper, particularly in troll threads that deal with insults, but that's about it; considering what Basil Moderators consider 'flaming' and 'losing temper', well, I'll simply let you decide if that's truly a bad thing or not. In any case, it mostly comes with maturity; I happen to be mature enough, and have been mature enough, even at a young age, to understand that concept, while many other Basil users don't. I think I've been here for a fair bit, and I've seen mature, young players grow up 'with' me, so to speak, while I've seen immature adults and likewise, mature adults who continue to be mature; c'est la vie, I guess.

In any case, I'm looking forward to when, and if, the thread creator replies; I'm looking forward to see what sort of 'explanations it lacks', especially considering how it's apparently serious enough to warrant a thread for a build of his own. Actually, thinking about it, I should probably make bad builds for threads like these; it is being rather nasty, but considering how lazy these people are, I certainly see it as fair if they choose to follow it.

Lansh, I could go about and destroy your build considering how wrong it is on many levels, particularly second and third job, along with a bit of fourth, but I actually hope he follows it; it isn't an optimal build and seems to be built for some sort of 'cookie-cutter' user who seeks to minimize potion usage. Strange, and certainly not optimal for someone who wants to train quickly; this would of course assume that a person is not one shotting everything, and thus has no need to get certain skills up until later, which is a justifiable build for them.

More importantly, however, is why are you rewarding this person for laziness? They failed to point out an error to anyone who has read the sticky, they don't bring up any specific issues and their claim of 'lack of explanations' is laughable; why would you give them a build? Honestly, at this point, I assume they were too lazy to actually read the sticky, and expect someone to hand them a build; in the future, I'd suggest that you don't post a build like this, since all it does is encourage lazy players to 'question' a guide in order to get a response of a build.

Heres my route, in order-
1st job- 1 point into somersault (attacker)
max Shadow Heart (extra critical)
max Dash (mobility)
max quick motion or bullet time or whatever (passive avoid and acc)
max somersault (main 1st job mobber, plus iframes)
point dump into double shot (useless)

2nd job
1 point into CSB and Tornado (rusher and attacker)
Max Perserverance (hp and mp heal)
Max HP boost (hp boost)
Max Phys. Training (30STR for a quick 5 points)
Max mastery (mastery)
Max Dark Clarity (30 atk)
Max Booster (speed)
Max CSB (rusher skill used until 200)
point dump into upper (useless after 60)

3rd job
1 point into energy charge, energy blast, landlubber blast, and spiral (energy charge enables energy blast, energy blast is main standstill mobber, landlubber is standstill charger, and spiral assault+csb combo makes for an undefeatable mobbing combo which ksers cant keep up with, plus it charges very fast)
Max energy charge (extended charge duration, faster charging, 30 atk)
Max Admirals Wings (20% damage reduction)
Max Precision Strikes (Moar critical)
Max Stun Mastery (stuns monsters and gives critical when stunned)
Max Dice (nice buffs)
Max Spiral Assault (your main mobber in 3rd along with csb, plus becomes your main rusher along with csb in later jobs)
Max Energy blast (main standstill mobber)
Point DUmp into landlubber (useless after 100, plus used less than energy blast)

4th job-
1 point into octopunch, dragon strike, nautilus, and buccaneer blast (main bosser, main charger, another charger, and main mobber)
Max Double Down (greatly boosts dice)
Max Pirates revenge (15% more damage)
Speed Infusion to level 10 (speed boost for whole party, no point in raising to 20 because only affects duration; level 10 is already 200 seconds)
Max Time leap (not so useful, but only 5 points)
Max Crossbones (high mastery, status/elemental resistance, and 15% damage)
Max Typhoon Crush (Chance to ignore enemy DEF)
Max Buccaneer Blast (main mobber, plus speeds up energy charging passively)
Max Octopunch (main bosser)
Max Dragon Strike (main charger, if you arent fighting bosses its still used a lot)
Raise Maple warrior as high as possible (extra stat boost, but books are too costly)
Max Heroes will (Seduce Protection)
Max Nautilus (useful for charging)
Finish off SPeed Infusion (nothing else to put it in)
FInish off unmaxed previous job skills (nothing else to put it in)
@Tricks122: I should have clarified this more, the guide says to max Full Swing like 2nd when I'm not going to until I finish Maha, Combo Critical and Might because I don't use it I use rolling spin more, then I will go Full Swing, like 10rolling spin and then the stuff that needs to be maxed.
Fair enough; that's minor tweaks that you can make based on how you personally train. I know that when I train classes I generally don't follow the builds completely, other than the final distribution to have skills needed for the next job, but for people who don't know how to build a character guides are required. I mean honestly, give me a layout of every class and I can probably give you a theoretical build that may have a messed up order, but has a close final build to an 'optimal' character; it comes with experience in MapleStory and games in general, and although some people like us can do modifications, some simply can't see straight at times. Guides exist as a canvas for experienced players, to make sure they don't make horrible, long-term mistakes, while they exist as one of those child-like numbered coloring pictures for newer players; no assembly required, just follow it and you won't mess up.
You really don't need a guide to tell you what to level. Just level what you think will increase your damage the most (excluding main attacking skills last most of the time.) And Defense.
ex: The Aran guide says you should max Full Swing first, but since I do Netts alot and spam rolling spin I don't because I don't use it, level what would help you the most.
Horrible idea, considering how Rolling Spin is supposed to be left at 18, which could mess up your build for fourth job is you don't have ten in Combo Judgement; while Combo Tempest isn't vital, it's pointless to max it when it's mainly used for Combo in mobs or pre-fourth job training. Twenty seconds more Polearm Booster is better, and while I agree that if you solely did Nett's Pyramid you could swap the order around, it generally hurts you in the long-term to do so.

Also, the guide on Basil lacks explanation? Really? I implore you to find a conundrum revolving skill points that you need to be solved, especially if it isn't included in the sticky, and ask the question here; if it truly is not, I don't see why you couldn't post on the thread itself. It's not as if everyone leaves it to rot, like the last guide, and I consistently check it to do my best in answering questions that arise, while players who do play are free to submit information that can be filed in.

Please, tell me what needs clarifying and is not currently in the guide; I'll be glad to either search the guide for you, or update it in order to clear confusion.
