Hs Unknown Error I haven't gotten to play Maple in almost a month. I finally got my net back today, downloaded the patch, was all ready to catch up with my guildies and buddies, and I see [url=http://i.imgur.com/bVTjgLV.png]this[/url]. Having had a few HS errors in the past, I deleted the HS directory as, in the past, that has always just made HS completely re-download. However, I'm still just getting that message. Anyone have any idea? [b]EDIT[/b] I didn't realize they had manual HS updates on [url=http://maplestory.nexon.net/support/game-download]this page[/url], in case anyone else is having the same issue. This fixed it for me.
Cannot connect due to firewall/sc - but neither This is not an issue of mine, but a friend's. I'm posting on her behalf. I'm sure you're all familiar with the error that says something to the effect of "Cannot connect to the server due to a fire or servercheck, would you like to check the website" etc etc. She's getting that error, though there's no sc and I had her temporarily disable her firewall to try, and still to no avail. What else would cause this error? EDIT: She has AVG Free, the PC throwing the error is running Windows 7. The connection is wired.
Pretty sure my patch is stuck Alright so I started the auto-patcher earlier today and it got some error about not being able to delete "admin_log" or something like that, I don't remember exactly. It aborted the update and said that I needed to redownload the game. Well, yeah, I have really crap internet and that would literally take me day[i]s[/i], so I downloaded the manual patcher instead. Running that, and it's been sitting at Base.wz for like... a good thirty minutes or so. No error, no progress. Just.... sitting there, at (3/3) Creating: Base.wz I've had my patches take some time but this strikes me as ludicrous. Did that first error screw stuff up and now I seriously haven't spend day[i]s[/i] downloading the client over aga
