I know using different ele staffs other then the same element has a penalty, but does that apply to bams as well?

@MooShroom2 I think staves is generally the more accepted term, but staffs is more frequent.
The penalties don't apply, so using any elemental staff would be alright. Elemental staff 7s seem to be the cheapest and most common, so it would probably be the best to get.

OT: I don't think the damage reduction does apply to BaMs.

Afaik BaMs dont use any ele so none of the penalties apply.
