There are certain words in English speaking countries that are spelled differently from the US. E.g. Colour = Color, realise = realize, theatre = theater. As you can tell, the right words are American while the left ones are English. So technically, it's all correct.

Canadians spell it as "colour", like the word "favourite". I still use the American spelling, though.

edit- nvm colour is right for us canadians.
even if we didn't use british-english, id say colour and favourite is the way to go
