@benchpresser: it was free, but only because i have braces and my Orthodontist office has a fabrication lab to make a retainer, appliances, and apparently fake teeth, so they asked me if i wanted a fake tooth in the spot i had from where my real front tooth fell out; it was included in the $6000 total im paying for my treatment (full set of metal Damon Braces)

What happened was I fell on my face in the kitchen when I was 13, since i had an overbite and one tooth was overlapping the other it came right out and i lost it.

I will be getting an implant to permanently take up that space (as well as a molar in the top left) after my braces get taken off; i still have just over a year to go.

You're getting a temporary fake front tooth? Yo bro tell me more. Why's it temporary? Are you gonna get a permanent one eventually? How much does it cost or is it mostly covered? I'm asking because I think one of my teeth will fall out too so I've been looking into it.

@tyrantblade: Name one successful person who didn't work hard. Even those who were born into privilege - they still had to maintain that wealth and privilege in some way.

Not everyone is going to be fortunate. That doesn't mean you shouldn't try though. I do think what helps is to also direct your effort towards the right things.

@tyrantblade: Well admittedly not everyone is a winner as much as I hate to admit that. The biggest thing I'm worried about is Katie (small cousin) she's currently 18, but she's the about the size of a 8-10 year old. It's not even just a little body situation, just looking at her you wouldn't know she's an adult! Doesn't help she has the mind of one...

She tries her damnedest to work, but most of the time people just assume she's just another kid. It scares the hell out of me of what'll happen when she's out there alone. I try to make her not worry about paying anything since really everyone else already works. Though she keeps insisting on working regardless. She's one hell of a trooper, but I do not see her working physical labor or office work. Especially offices since she has no real experience involving it at all.

As you said you can encourage someone, but at the end of the day it for the most part really doesn't make much of a difference. Again I'm not much of a person who likes to be negative, but undeniably there are things that even I can't argue that things just aren't always gonna end well. However as long as I stand on this very nicely kept carpet, I WILL make sure everyone in my house will live a happy life. I swear it on my grave!

@carbyken: sadly thats actually rarely the case as most of the time your efforts go unnoticed, or maybe you get some verbal encouragement, but verbal encouragement doesnt pay the bills.

@tyrantblade: I think we all can agree to that, but personally "Work harder in life, you get more rewarded for it." Or at least that's how I always took it. Though sadly not everyone is as fortunate... but that's getting depressing, and I rather not sound like that.

@carbyken: true, just wish life was a little easier.

I'm doing fine actually, quitting Maple has given much more time to catch up on my backlog. So many games needless to say! Still at least they work~!

Currently extending some soundtracks to longer lengths cause seriously I HATE 1-2 minutes of playtime! Gaaaah, too dang short I tell ya!

To be fair work is work, as much as we all want more free time, gotta work for it!
