Log-In Issue 6/12
K so this is a weird glitch, I don't think there's a possible fix other than something Nexon can do at their side but who knows worth a shot right?
I can't log on to my shadower account AT ALL.
GameLauncher : after entering the pw and clicking log in the screen freezes for a moment then the pw box clears then nothing.. and the result is the same after rebooting pc/router/network and on various machines

edit- I realise there's a possibility it may be a form of ban although I doubt that as there's a pop up for bannings.

It's not a permanent ban. Nexon replied to tickets saying it was temporary. If you look at the 100+ pg thread on the Nexon forums about this issue, some people have been unbanned already after waiting 30 days. And no, we did not hack. Maybe a few hackers here and there might be willing to lie about this, but 100+ pages worth of people wouldn't. Plus, if we were all hackers, we would already make multiple other accounts by now to hack with instead of wasting our time on the forums every day waiting for a solution.

dude, maybe rank 0 is because it is a new char and has no ranking because rankings havent been updated in months

i got a response for my ticket
and it said that my account might not have been affected with the glitch and that i was temporary banned for breaking rules
and it mentioned something about third party programs that enhance my gamelay or somthing
what da.....
i dont use third party programs
i dont even know what they are

been like this for 2 days iv sent a ticket yesterday but still no response
and im not on the ban list
and if its a temporary ban its for nothing i dont use hax

30 days. I had the same problem trying to get a release date.
This just happened to me yesterday..I posted in the Nexon forums as well. School's going to start up for me by the time I get unbanned. I guess I'm not getting to level 200 yet again this winter break.
@Kmagic14: yeah, on appeals. I was trying to point out it was an issue not a single ban. But Skelorm wouldn't let me appeal at all. So stupid really anyone who checked this thread and the threads on the maplestory forums would see it's an issue ;_;

Wow, it takes me 10 minutes on average to log into MapleStory. My connection really is that bad (or maybe I live too far away from the servers).
But... dayum. This issue struck a whole load of people. Well, at least Tyler saw it. He may be able to pass it on to people who can in turn pass it on to people who can help you out. These automated messages accusing you lot of hacking aren't of any help.

Yeah I'm really getting tired of this, ever since this whole tempest update the game has gone down hill with maintenance and bug issues. I sent another ticket today they responded with the usual BS and i made my ticket as short as possible. I hate tempest F3

Yeah it's worth it. I may be wrong but shelkrom or whatever his name is doesn't seem to read tickets.. Just from how many tickets it took for me to even get an actual release date..

same thing happened to me yesterday when i was training my hero at HoH ._. Now i can't log on that account... T~T can't get passed the login screen using game launcher, or i get d/ced after i clicked on a channel using the website login.
This JUST happened to me, 4 minutes before the Israelian 2x exp event.

I worded my ticket extremely simple and short then he read it properly.
I don't even know if I should bother trying another ticket, I'm away after next week til 2nd anyway.
Maybe I'll try one more on Monday and hope it reaches a competent GM.

Well I finally got a release date.. Jan 5th after 9AM

Yea they always use standard copy/paste responses to any tickets. They actually don't read the content or at least they don't even give a reply to the content but just to the topic. If for example you want to request an e-mail address change, and you know they will ask these questions (because in the past you have requested before) about name, bday etc. I put those questions + answers in the ticket, and they just put a standard message and asked me to answer these questions which I already did.
I thought this would have made things faster but no.
Anyway it is weird that they didn't tell untill what date you are banned. When my friend got perm banned at Aliens during Renegade (happened to a lot of people that time), I helped him with the ticket. Nexon investigated the account and replied with the same message as yours that they found suspected activities but the only difference was that they gave my friend another chance and unbanned him in 1-3 work days.
It is very insulting the standard message to me.

so ive had this issue for almost 2 weeks now. I just started to try to fix it (had finals to worry about before) and I cant get into my account... ive had to do anonymous tickets . my email associated with this account also had its password changed. i dont know if it was a coincidence or if i got hacked or what. the password recovery emails arent going through even though i have salvaged my email account. something weird is going on
I got a response to one of my tickets finally, it's from Gm Kanison but it was the automated response saying they are sorry and are aware of the issue and yada yada yada. I'm gunna resend a ticket in the ban appeal form and see what happens, and i do think we will get compensation if we keep sending tickets. One time i had a personal issue with the game and they sent me nx compensation after one ticket.
