Need help with math f(x) = p(x-a) is an even function. p(x) is a 2. degree polynomial and its roots are x = 1 and x = 5. Solve a using f(x) = f(-x) method. I can't get the right answer.

I need help with pseudocode solved. thanks.
Need help with chemistry homework A student adds 5,0 mol ethanol, 6,0 mol ethanoic acid, 6,0mol ethyl acetate and 4,0 mol water into an erlenmeyer flask. He waited until it balanced and noticed that there was 4,0 mol of ethanoic acid left. Calculate the equilibrium constant. I got this and made an ICE tablet with it: CH3COOH (aq) + C2H5OH (aq) <-> C4H8O2 (aq) + H2O (l) 6 5 0 0 -2 -2 +2 +2 4 3 2 2 And then I used this: K=[C4H8O2][H2O]/[CH3COOH][C2H5OH] and I got = 0,3333 Is this correct? Because this felt a bit way too easy. And I don't know what am I supposed to do with 6,0mol ethyl acetate and 4,0 mol water. Or do I even need them?
Life cycle costing question I'm studying for my multiple choice exam that is tomorrow but I don't know the answer for this one. Does anyone know which one is correct and why? There are two different projects. Project A: IRR: 17 % (required rate of return 10%) Current value: 157 Project B: IRR: 14 % (required rate of return 10%) Current value: 204 Which one is correct? a. You should pick project A b. You should pick project B c. You shouldn't pick neither one d. You should decide by calculating the payback time.
I need help with physics There are two towns, Town A and Town B and the distance between them is 165km. There are two cars, one car leaves from Town A to Town B with 95 km/h speed and other one from Town B to Town A with 75km/h speed. 1) Which car will be closer to Town A when they meet each other ? [b]Solved[/b] 2) What is the distance between Town A and the spot where they meet each other? Answers: 1) Both are as close 2) 92km Can someone teach me how to calculate these ?
Physics homework There's an observer standing next to a railroad track 180m away from the head of a train. When the train's head goes past the observer its velocity is 23m/s. The rear of the train passes the same spot after 4.0 seconds. What's the length of the train? You can assume that acceleration is constant. How should I start solving this? I tried using different formulas to solve the acceleration and time but I can't get the right answer.

I can't breath I can't breath through my left nostril. It's not blocked by mucus or boogies. When I put my pinky in, it's like there's a bone or something that is making it smaller. Does anyone know if it's swollen or something ? Should I go to see doctor ?
Physic problem Object A is connected to object B by a massless string that passes over a massless, frictionless pulley. Object A is on a frictionless 30degree incline. Object A's mass is 2,0kg. When object B falls 1,0m its velocity is 2,5m/s. What's the mass of object B? I can't find a solution to this. I don't know how can I get the acceleration.
