Level 70 Link Skills
Alright, I'm trying to make my Night Lord in the best way possible. I currently have a Kaiser, Luminous, and Angelic Buster at level 70+. All of their link skills will go to my thief, but are there any more link skills that I should consider? Thanks.
*one more thing, what's the difference between a Ultimate Adventurer and a regular Explorer? Damage still the same or different?

@membersonlyy: I'd say given that we get things about 5 months after KMS does, we could possibly start seeing that in may, but that's usually when they do the anniversary for GMS and they pushed back everything in 2012 in favor of the anniversary so it's likely the same thing will happen again this year. So June sounds like the the best bet, right after the anniversary stuff is done.
In my opinion the merc link skill is the best link skill of them all not only is it 10% xp but it also is a free tele to Victoria island and now since the new patch with grandis it is now a free tele to anywhere in the world

Cannoneer
Demon Slayer
Mihile
Jett
Angelic Buster
Kaiser

Demon Slayer for the 10% Boss damage.
Cannoneer for extra stats including 5% HP.
Kaiser for another 10% HP.
Luminous for 10% Armor Penetration.
Phantom for 10% critical.
@Edgurrr phantom is already 10%
Mercedes Link skill is useful (10% Exp + a teleport to Victoria Island on a one hour cooldown, 15% if Mercedes is 120 in future patch). Cannoneer's is also good, once its open for creation again(15 to all stats, 5% HP/MP;20 to all stats and 10%HP/MP in future patch). If you have room for more characters, Phantom is good, too (5% Crit Chance, will be 10% in a future patch when Phantom is level 120).
As for Ultimate Explorers, in theory, they ARE stronger (They have a skill that allows them to equips items 10 levels earlier) but unless you actually have those items available, there is no real advantage. Also, eventually there aren't any advantages afterwards(since eventually you end up wearing the same level equips anyways).
Phantom's link skill gives 10%crit. Idk what will be the %crit in the future patch. Maybe something like 15-20%crit
Get phantom's +10% crit rate if you haven't already.
@ClricSakura: Thanks. Except for the 10% PDR and maybe the 10% HP for ranged classes... looks like Nexon is getting cheap with their link skills. Thanks again for the info.
I would just like to point out that while ultimate explorers have the skill that allows them to wear things 10 levels early and the cygnus attack, those are both skills that a normal explorer can learn too. The process is just very very tedious on a normal adventurer as it requires getting lots of drops that have a low drop rate and can't be started until 70+. Many people take 40+ hours on 2x drop to get both of those skills. So ultimate explorers are more of a shortcut to those skills rather than an exclusive thing.
But damage wise they are the same. Also if you feel like preparing, there's level 2 versions of the link skills that you get at level 120. That won't be until we get the Unlimited patch though which just came out in December for KMS. But if you have the patience to get the link skill characters to 120, it will save you extra effort later.
hmm, don't think i'll be playing at that moment, but when does the patch come out for us?
But damage wise, they're still the same right? It's only the skills that are different?

I don't play much anymore but I didn't think that there were links skills with Kaiser, Luminous or Angelic Buster. Are there? If so, what are they?
Kaiser gives 10% HP extra, Luminous gives 10% PDR, and Angelic Buster lets you deal 50% extra damage for 10 seconds (90 sec cd)

Man, thanks guys! Hahahaha, glad to know that we have people that support opinions very well. So, anyone from demethos?
@Chema maybe she only like nightlord
OT: if you have character slots enough, i suggest you to get them al.
Cannoneer gives 15 all stat or something, mercedes 10% exp (usefull till you hit level 200) demon slayer 10% boss dmg, mihile stance (meh), phantom gives %crit.
I see you already got the others haha. And, there is jett. A lot of people say jett's link skill is useless. But no, it isnt. You can give the core effect to others. If you enchance the core, you can get to 20 atk + 20 luk as a link skill haha!
One last thing, does every class have a link skill?
If you're going to make a nightlord, I would say that the Phantom link skill is a MUST have. 10% critical rate is extremely good for nightlords. Other than that, the cannoneer one is also very good because of the added hp and the extra dex/luk can help you go dexless as well (which you should be doing in this day and age). Other than that demon slayer and mercedes are both kinda good, though not really needed. Good luck making your awesome thief
Cannoneer, Mihile, Demon Slayer, and Phantom. I like the Mihile because of the Stance Effect :o
If anything you should consider making any other class
NightLords are garbage
Best would be to get all possible link skills to your Night Lord.
UA's pretty much have a slight bonus. They get one extra attack skill which is usually obsolete around lvl120. They also get a small sprite summon which does deal some extra damage. Furthermore they get a skill which allows them to wear equipment which requires 10 levels above their own level.
But damage wise, they're still the same right? It's only the skills that are different?
I think the difference between Ultimate Adventurer and a regular Explorer is that the UA has an extra skill while the Explorer has more slots in their inventory. I think you're fine on your link skills but it wouldn't hurt to get the Mercedes link skill for the extra exp. (If you have a Canoneer that link skill is good too)

If they still had Cannonners available i would say go for that and Mercedes. Demon slayer has like 10% boss damage i think? So that could be useful as well.
Ultimate explorers get one of the skills of their Cygnus counterparts (Nightlords getting vampire/w/e its called). The only other thing i think they get different is they can wear equipment 10 levels lower than reg explorers. Other than that, i think they are pretty much the same.
