List more reasons why my friend should buy an iPad
So my friend wants one and i need more reasons that he shouldnt get one
Ive listed these ones so far:
-Use the money in a time of need
-Save for collage
-Save for your boy/girlfriend
-Pay dept
-Donate to charity
-Not look like a total [foul adjective] whilst carrying it around
Anything else?

If he/she wants a tablet they can get one that is just as nice if not nicer for much cheaper. End thread.

ipads suck, tell him to get a laptop with decent specs instead
In my home everyone has an iPhone, everyone has a PC laptop, but we only have one iPad.
It's nice for some things, like reading eBooks (although the Kindle is cheaper and has a better display) or watching TV or movies. It's clearly a luxury, not a necessity.

Save for collage, hahaa.
But yeah there's really no reason. My parents bought one just for the internet using, and I occasionally put some songs if I can't put songs on my other devices. And jailbreaking is okay, I mean there's only so many games until you get bored of most of them... I know that in 'collage' it might be some use for textbooks, but I'm a "paper feel person," so I won't be using an iPad in 'collage.'
